Location

The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is just over 20 minutes drive from the airport. There are ample transportation options with taxis easily available or the hotel can arrange a transfer for you in advance. The property is located just off Orchard Road, the main shopping and entertainment district in Singapore, so there are shops and restaurants easily accessible when you want to explore. There is a maze of underground passages that connect the various shopping centers and the underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. It’s minutes away from the Singapore Botanic Gardens as well. Getting around the rest of the city is quite easy as you can easily walk to public transit stops and there’s a stop for the Big Bus tour just across the road.

Rooms

The rooms are well decorated and maintained; we stayed in a Club King room. We really enjoyed the double sinks in the bathroom, spacious closet and dressing table that made us feel like the two of us had plenty of space to unpack and get ready without fighting for space. The bed was comfortable; we had a view up Orchard Road that was all lit up and decorated for the festive season. I also was pleased with the amount of outlets and USB ports available for device charging.

Amenities

The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has two pools, a lap pool on the third floor next to the executive club and pool house, and a 20th floor rooftop pool that offers panoramic views of the city. They also have a state-of-the-art fitness center that has flavored water, modern equipment and a lot of space. I highly recommend making time to enjoy a spa treatment during your stay. Depending on where you’re traveling from, the flight to Singapore can be quite long (our flight from the US was 17+hours!), so a massage is a great way to unwind and feel refreshed.

Executive Club

I recommend booking a room that includes Club Lounge access. The Executive Club includes access to the club lounge that offers all-day refreshments from breakfast, afternoon tea and gin o’clock cocktails. Additionally, you’ll gain access to private meeting rooms, concierge services and discounts at the spa. We had the lounge to ourselves for breakfast all three days of our stay, and the staff encouraged us to try all sorts of delicious things. They also provided great perspective and guidance on local dining.

Need to Know

I recommend Four Seasons Hotel Singapore for any traveler who likes to be close to great retail and restaurant options. Located in the lush Orchard area in Singapore near the Botanical Gardens with two scenic pools and an amazing spa, it’s the perfect hotel to kick off your honeymoon or to enjoy a high-end shopping trip. Singapore is a small country with a lot to offer. I recommend starting any first-time trip with a Big Bus Tour to give you a high-level view of the city so you can decide what areas and attractions you want to revisit!
