At the same time, the resort still works well for families thanks to its kid-friendly activities and easy, low-stress layout.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Preferred Club experience, which added thoughtful extras that made the trip feel even more comfortable. Perks such as a complimentary cabana, lounge access, premium liquors, and upgraded in-room amenities helped create a more elevated experience without taking away from the resort’s easygoing atmosphere. Bringing small bills is helpful for optional tipping. Dreams Playa Bonita does not offer an airport shuttle, but reliable private transportation can be arranged in advance. Guests also do not need to book excursions before arrival, as the resort’s concierge can help schedule tours once on site.
