Curator’s statement
Vegas is my favorite place in the US to visit! You really only need a couple of days to experience the magic of this city, and no two trips are ever the same, adding to the excitement. I even got married there on New Year’s Day at The Little White Chapel. This destination will always be a special one for me, and I love helping people plan their Vegas escapes.

The Venetian is one of those properties that just makes a Vegas stay feel smooth and elevated from start to finish. The all-suite rooms are a huge part of that. Being able to have a separate living area, a huge bathroom, tons of storage, and closet space makes the experience that much more comfortable. It’s the kind of room setup that works whether you’re getting ready for a night out, taking a breather mid-day, or settling in after a long one.
I always appreciate how much the property offers without feeling overwhelming. There are endless dining options, and they’re consistently solid, from quick stops to full sit down meals. If you want a slower moment, the pools and spa are genuinely relaxing and give you that little escape from the Strip energy whenever you need it.
The Venetian has so many great spots inside the property that it’s worth carving out time just to explore. Nomikai is a standout as it’s one of the most versatile, well-done eateries in the hotel. Up front, you get a easy, casual grab-and-go setup for quick bites, but once you step inside, it shifts into a dimly lit, vibey, elevated restaurant. I highly recommend you just let the chef do his thing and order the Nomikai Sushi Set that includes eight pieces of nigiri and a handroll. The Miso Black Cod cut roll is incredible and the cocktails are also amazing. Definitely try the Kumiko’s Garden, which comes with an over-the-top presentation you can only get in Vegas.

For drinks before dinner, Close Company is a hidden gem, a speakeasy tucked inside the food hall with great cocktails and a relaxed, intimate vibe. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink before heading to dinner or starting the night.

Gjelina is another can’t-miss spot, especially if you appreciate really thoughtful, ingredient-driven food. The space has that warm, slightly moody, California-cool vibe, and the menu is just as strong as its LA counterpart. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over a long lunch or settle in for a beautifully paced dinner. Do not miss the burger or the Arugula, Treviso, Crispy Shallot, Parmesan, Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette Salad with salmon added on top! I loved that they served orange wine, a California classic. It fits any mood, making it a must-visit during your stay.

HaSalon is another great choice if you’re looking for a lively, high energy night. Dinner there has a way of turning into an experience, not just a meal. For something iconic and a little playful, the gondola rides are still a classic, a fun break in the day and a very “only in Vegas” activity.
For entertainment, the Shin Lim Magic Show is incredible, his sleight-of-hand illusions are jaw-dropping and make for a really memorable night on the Strip.

The best advice is to treat The Venetian like its own mini destination. You can easily spend a full day (or more) exploring what’s inside without ever leaving the property, and it really adds to how smooth and enjoyable the stay feels.
The Venetian is great for anyone who wants to be right in the center of everything while still having a calm, spacious home base. Couples, groups, solo travelers, work trips, it fits all of it because of its convenience and the fact that it has something for every type of traveler.
