Positano Hotel Perfection: Covo dei Saraceni
Curator’s statement

For me, it’s all about location when picking where to stay on vacation, and Covo dei Saraceni offered a prime spot along the Spiaggia Grande. With beachfront access, you are walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, shops, and ferries. The hotel pool offers the most insane views, making you feel like you’re living in a postcard.

Covo dei Saraceni put us in a great location as it gave us the most convenient access to all of the places we wanted to explore in town. We loved all of the time we spent at the property, enjoying our room, the amenities, and dining at the restaurants.

Restaurants and bars include:

  • Savino Restaurant: A more upscale yet approachable lunch and dinner spot on the terrace facing the beach and Positano.

  • Volavento Restaurant & Bar: Offers poolside lunch dining plus sunset aperitifs and pre-dinner drinks.

  • Cala Marinai Brasserie: Dine right along the sea at their little outdoor tables offering quick, easy meals, great pizza, and refreshing gelato.

  • La Coquille Cocktail Lounge Bar: This space is gorgeous and available for guests to enjoy all throughout the day and night. Enjoy the open-air space with giant windows facing Positano.

The pool at the hotel was the highlight of our experience as you are up close and personal with the iconic landscape of Positano.

Our Junior Suite room was incredible, with a balcony opening up to the sea. The bathroom space was generous with a shower/tub and dual sink counter space.

We absolutely loved our stay here!

Need to know

We were walking uphill at times, but that is unavoidable when staying in Positano, plus we always love getting our steps in. If you have any mobility issues, this hotel/area will be a challenge.
