Hotel Spotlight: Disney Fireworks Without the Crowds at Conrad Orlando
Curator’s statement

Conrad Orlando is a beautiful Hilton property that feels much further from Disney World than the three miles that separate the two. The accommodations are luxurious and the experience is elevated, but don’t mistake that for thinking it’s not family friendly. From the bunny mascot Sunny to the family suite and kids' club, Conrad welcomes your family with open arms.

Conrad Orlando at Evermore is the destination for families looking for Disney slightly removed. The four-star hotel is minutes from Disney World and offers complimentary transportation to all the parks, with multiple travel times throughout the day to allow you as much or as little Disney as your heart desires. Even if the little ones can’t hang until the fireworks show, both the Epcot and Magic Kingdom fireworks shows can be viewed from the rooftop restaurant Ceiba and even some of the guest room balconies. Speaking of views, there isn’t a bad one to be had. Whether it’s the crisp green golf course or the crystal clear water of Evermore Bay, the views are sure to impress.

Sometimes the most challenging part of traveling with kids is making sure they get their rest. Do you let them stay up way too late because you’re sharing a room and you aren’t ready for bed? Or do you put them to bed as normal and tiptoe around, hoping you don’t wake them? Conrad Orlando has it figured out. The family suite sleeps six and has a clever design, incorporating bunk beds into the living room in a very discrete yet functional way. The bedroom has plenty of space and is accompanied by a large bathroom with a walk-in closet and separate toilet room. The second bathroom is in the main living area, once again helping parents to keep bedtime on track. For families with older children, a suite with a connecting one-bedroom is a great option, or one of the more than 40 room types offered at the resort.

The Conrad offers a variety of food options, from Mexican to Italian to Polynesian, and all of it is delicious. If that’s not enough, since the Conrad is part of the Evermore Orlando Resort, all the restaurants, bars, and lounges across the bay are open to Conrad guests. If you’re there on Friday or Saturday nights, the kids' club offers Kids' Night Out, an opportunity for parents to have an uninterrupted dinner while the kids play.

When it comes to play, Conrad Orlando at Evermore has it all figured out. Choose from the zero-entry pool and splash pad or the lagoon at Evermore Bay, equipped with sandy beaches and water sports. Better yet, do yourself a favor and try them both. If you find yourself with some free time, you can always swing by the golf course, take a spin in the fitness center, or lay back and relax at the spa. At Conrad Orlando, there is truly something for everyone.
