The Isla Mujeres Underwater Museum (MUSA) features over 500 life-sized sculptures submerged just three to six meters beneath the water, blending art and conservation as they evolve into vibrant artificial reefs. The patties are made of a mouth-watering rib eye and brisket blend, ensuring a juicy bite every time. My favorite is the mushroom burger with a multi-mushroom medley, caramelized onions, emmental mornay cheese sauce, on a brioche bun. My husband prefers to indulge in the BBQ burger, with a 50/50 blend of Yucatan pork and their house beef blend, homemade BBQ sauce, smoked bacon, caramelized onions, and a crunchy ginger-infused coleslaw. Whatever burger you choose, be sure not to skip the amazing Parmesan truffle fries.

Oscar’s Grill is a crowd-pleaser, serving up awesome pizza and pasta. You have the option of sitting along the main street, taking in the sights and sounds of life on the island, or harbor-side for a more intimate experience. The seafood pizza with shrimp, lobster, and mussels is a delicious combination of classic pizza and local seafood. If you can’t decide on which pizza to share, you can always get a half-and-half. The garlic knots will be the cherry on top of your visit with their warm, garlicy goodness.

La Casa del Ceviche is a hidden gem featuring local seafood delights. Enjoy the fresh shrimp ceviche, Mexican guacamole, salmon and tuna tartare, and the house special, grilled octopus, while taking in the sunset from the rooftop dining area.

Tiny Gecko is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite Caribbean cocktail while watching the sunset over the ocean. Margarita Madness Fridays offer the most flavors on the island—you can enjoy a cold drink while listening to the local live music.
