Alto Vista Winery & Distillery: A family owned winery located is worth the drive for tasting flights and sunsets in the evening.
A half-day in Arikok National Park: The island's desert-like interior, all cacti and limestone cliffs, is a genuine change of pace from the coastline and easy to see in a few hours with a rental car.
Sunset sail: A catamaran or private sunset cruise along the coast is the easiest way to see Aruba from the water and makes for a built-in date night.
Snorkeling off Malmok: Calmer, clearer water and fewer crowds than the main beaches—worth the short drive north.
Rent a car and experience Aruba beyond the resort area. Take a scenic drive to the island's southern coast and spend the day exploring two of its most beautiful beaches. Start at Baby Beach, a postcard-perfect lagoon known for its calm, crystal-clear turquoise water that's ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Just a minute away, you'll find Rodgers Beach, a peaceful local favorite with the same stunning Caribbean water but far fewer crowds.
Visit the California Lighthouse and climb to the top for 360 degree views of the island.
