Things to do in Croatia

Things to do in Hvar:
Hvar is one of the most quaint and beautiful towns in Croatia. It also claims to be "the sunniest spot in Europe!" With its gorgeous town center and rows of yachts, there is so much to see and do.
A must do on everyone's list is the Blue Cave tour. This exciting tour takes you out to one of the most beautiful sites in the country. A protected UNESCO cave the color of the bluest blue. For an all-day adventure to not only the blue cave but also great swimming spots and the green cave, we recommend Mario Rent. Their easy-to-find location and wonderful staff made the day (a 6-8 hour tour) absolutely wonderful. Many tours have large boats with lots of people on one boat. At Mario Tours, they cap the max on their speed boats at 12 people. A perfect number for a fun tour!
Other top things to do on Hvar are e-bike tours and a climb up to the Fotica Fortress. An ancient fortress on top of Hvar with endless views.
Things to do in Vis:
A small island once known as a military station for its view of the open ocean. A true Mediterranean sanctuary. Vis is known for its incredible beaches. Beaches to put on your list are those in the bay of Komiza. Long pebble beaches with shade and gorgeous freshwater springs. For those film buffs, Vis is also the location of the Mama Mia sequel!
Things to do in Korcula:
Possibly my favorite Island in Croatia for its vast variety of activities. From the ancient sword dance performed once a week on the island known as Moreska to the abundance of wine tours, Korcula is not to be missed. One of my absolute favorite things to do on Korcula and, I think, the best way to see the Island is by buggy. This personalized tour by a local husband and wife is an incredible way to see the island, learn about local culture and secret island spots and finish with a beautiful outdoor lunch at the owner's residence. A perfect afternoon! My daughter (8 years old) had the time of her life on this tour! Also not to be missed is a quick water taxi out to the neighboring small island of Badija. A wooded uninhabited island with a monastery and wild deer who love to eat fruit from your hand if you bring some.

Places to eat & drink in Croatia

Hvar:
Breakfast: Sol Cafe with its perfect location in the center of the town square and international-inspired dishes is a great way to start your day!
Lunch: Bacchus Palmizana, if you are out on the blue cave tour, or inclined to take a water taxi, a top on our list for lunch is on the island of Palmižana. Gorgeous views and the most amazing, fresh seafood dishes! You must experience their brick oven Octopus!!
Dinner: Jerolim with its beautiful view of the marina, walking distance to everything and scrumptious food! Also, don't forget to top your evening off with some yummy gelato from aRoma just a quick walk from dinner.
Vis:
Breakfast: We definitely recommend grabbing a quick to-go bite from the hotel. Most hotels offer a wonderful breakfast and this is your chance to take advantage.
Lunch: Pizzeria Charly Vis for its exceptional pizza and views.
Dinner: Konoba Kantun for some local fresh fish and sunset vibes.
Korcula:
Breakfast: Step Cafe, a local favorite hangout and a must for those not wanting to bust the budget.
Lunch: Aurora was prime location and a great stop for some cocktails and fabulous lunch... don't forget to order some oysters for a fresh taste of the sea!
Dinner: Possibly the best meal we had on our entire trip was at Adio Mare. With rooftop seating overlooking the church bells and killer service, this place is an absolute must! Once there, make sure to order the scorpion fish. You'll thank me later!
