Curator’s statement
I wanted this Thailand itinerary to feel intentional, elevated, and fun without feeling overplanned. Thailand offers the perfect mix of culture, adventure, relaxation, and celebration, and each destination brings a completely different energy to the trip. From Bangkok’s vibrant city life and temples to Krabi’s slower pace and Phuket’s beaches and celebrations, every experience was selected to create meaningful memories while still leaving room for spontaneity. I believe the best travel experiences happen when you have a plan, but also give yourself permission to simply enjoy where you are.

Day 1: Bangkok soft landing, ICONSIAM & rooftop introduction

ICONSIAM Food Court
After a long travel journey, I intentionally designed our first day in Bangkok to ease into the city’s energy rather than jump straight into a packed itinerary. We’ll begin with a relaxed brunch and a chance to refresh before heading to ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok’s most impressive shopping and dining destinations, where we can explore the indoor floating market, riverfront views, and local cuisine. The evening is reserved for our first rooftop experience, offering panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline and the perfect introduction to the city’s vibrant atmosphere. My biggest recommendation for arrival day in Bangkok is to stay hydrated, take breaks when needed, and allow yourself to adjust to the time difference while still enjoying the excitement of being there.
Day 2: Exploring Bangkok's local Side & experiencing the city after dark

Tichuca Rooftop Bar
Day two is designed to experience Bangkok beyond the major tourist attractions and immerse ourselves in the city’s everyday energy. We’ll start the day with breakfast before heading to MBK Center, one of Bangkok’s most iconic shopping destinations, where we’ll browse everything from local goods and souvenirs to fashion and electronics. After shopping, we’ll slow things down with a traditional Thai massage, which is not only a cultural experience but also the perfect way to recharge before the evening. We’ll end the day with a guided tuk tuk night tour, allowing us to experience Bangkok’s temples, markets, and neighborhoods illuminated after dark. My recommendation for this day is to wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and embrace the spontaneity of Bangkok because some of the best moments happen in between the plans.
Day 3: Temples, Thai glam & Bangkok skyline views

Wat Arun
Day three is designed to showcase the cultural and visual beauty of Bangkok through a mix of historic landmarks and unforgettable experiences. We’ll begin the day exploring some of Bangkok’s most iconic temples, including Wat Arun and Wat Pho, which offer incredible architecture, rich history, and some of the city’s most beautiful photo opportunities. In the afternoon, we’ll experience a traditional Thai glam photoshoot, providing a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in Thai culture while creating lasting memories. We’ll end the evening at the Mahanakhon Skywalk, where we’ll watch the city transform from day to night and experience panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline. My recommendation for this day is to dress comfortably for the heat, wear temple-appropriate attire, and keep your camera and portable charger nearby because this will easily be one of the most memorable and photogenic days of the trip.
Day 4: Transitioning from Bangkok to Krabi & embracing island time

Views across the hotel
Day four marks the transition from the energy and excitement of Bangkok to the slower pace and natural beauty of Southern Thailand. After an early morning flight to Krabi, the goal for this day is not to overplan, but rather to settle into island life and enjoy the change of scenery. We’ll spend the afternoon exploring Ao Nang, enjoying the beach, relaxing at the resort, and taking in the dramatic limestone cliffs that make this region so iconic. My recommendation for this day is to lean into the slower pace, stay flexible, and allow yourself time to unwind because Krabi is best experienced when you stop trying to do everything and simply enjoy where you are.
Day 5: Discovering the beauty of Railay Beach

Railay Beach
Day five is all about experiencing one of Thailand’s most iconic landscapes: Railay Beach. Accessible only by boat, Railay offers dramatic limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and a slower pace that perfectly captures the beauty of Southern Thailand. We’ll spend the day exploring the beaches, enjoying the scenery, relaxing by the water, and taking in the unique atmosphere that makes this destination so special. My recommendation for this day is to wear comfortable sandals, bring plenty of sunscreen, and allow yourself time to simply enjoy the views because Railay is one of those places that doesn’t need a packed itinerary to leave a lasting impression.
Day 6: Arriving in Phuket & settling into island life

Birthday welcome for Triple 20s
Day six marks our transition from the peaceful landscapes of Krabi to the vibrant energy of Phuket. After our transfer, we’ll spend the afternoon settling into our resort in Kamala Beach, exploring the property, and taking time to enjoy the slower pace before our more active days ahead. This day is intentionally left flexible to allow for pool time, a walk along the beach, or simply relaxing and taking in our new surroundings. My recommendation for this day is to resist the urge to overplan, embrace the change of pace, and use this time to recharge because Phuket offers a completely different experience depending on how much or how little you choose to do.
Day 7: Phi Phi islands, private experiences & Phuket nightlife

Longtail boat tour
Day seven is designed to showcase some of the most iconic scenery in Southern Thailand while balancing adventure, relaxation, and nightlife. We’ll begin the day traveling to Phi Phi Island, where we’ll meet our private tour and spend the day exploring breathtaking locations including Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, and Shark Point, complete with a private beach picnic experience. After returning to Phuket, we’ll take time to refresh and recharge before heading to Patong for dinner and an evening experiencing the energy and excitement of Bangla Road. My recommendation for this day is to stay hydrated, wear plenty of sunscreen, and embrace the full experience because this is one of those unforgettable travel days that perfectly captures why Thailand is so special.
Day 8: Celebrating in Phuket—culture, experiences & birthday memories

Birthday celebration for Triple 20s
Day eight is designed as a celebration day, combining some of Phuket’s most memorable experiences with time to slow down and enjoy the moment. We’ll spend the day exploring Phuket with a private guide, including visits to an elephant experience, Old Phuket Town, local markets, and souvenir shops, with the flexibility to add additional stops based on our energy and interests. To balance the excitement of the day, we’ll also enjoy a traditional Thai massage before returning to the hotel to get ready for an all-white birthday celebration dinner. My recommendation for this day is to embrace flexibility, take plenty of photos, and focus on creating memories rather than checking off every possible activity, because the best celebrations are the ones you truly get to experience and enjoy.
Day 9: Final day in Phuket—relaxation, adventure & reflection

Grabbing the Grab on the Go
Day nine is intentionally designed to be flexible, allowing us to enjoy our final full day in Thailand at our own pace. We’ll spend the day experiencing a mix of relaxation and fun, including beach club time, the Mario Kart experience, souvenir shopping, local markets, and enjoying some of Phuket’s vibrant nightlife. This day provides the opportunity to revisit favorite experiences, pick up last-minute gifts, and fully soak in the atmosphere before our journey home. My recommendation for this day is to avoid overplanning, stay present, and take time to appreciate the moments you’ve created throughout the trip because the final day of a journey is often when everything begins to sink in.
