Curator’s statement
Beverly Hills has a way of feeling both iconic and effortless at the same time. It’s where classic LA glamour, a strong wellness culture, and a dining scene that still delivers all come together. You can spend the day wandering quiet, palm-lined streets, then settle into a long lunch or dinner that feels like part of the experience. It’s less about checking things off and more about how it all unfolds.

Day 1: Classic Beverly Hills

The Whisky Bar at The Maybourne Hotel
Start your visit with a stroll through Beverly Gardens Park. The Beverly Hills sign and lily pond are near the entrance, and it’s an easy way to get a feel for the neighborhood.
Beverly Hills is best when you’re not rushing it. Give yourself time to wander, notice the details, and ease into the pace.
For an early evening drink, The Bar at The Hôtel Lili is a jewel box lobby bar with low lighting and a great playlist.
There are several historic restaurants to choose from, but a few stand out:
Mr. Chow has been around since the 70s and still delivers with a throwback vibe. The lychee martini and hand-pulled noodles are standouts.
Book a table at La Dolce Vita and request the Frank Sinatra booth. Northern Italian classics have been served here since the 50s, and the room still feels like old Hollywood.
For something more contemporary, Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s flagship, sets the tone for California cuisine and remains a go-to.
After dinner, if you’re not quite ready to call it, The Whisky Bar inside The Maybourne is polished, slightly moody, and a good place to linger.
Day 2: Rodeo Drive & wellness

The Spa at The Maybourne
Start the morning at Alfred Coffee. Iced vanilla latte, a bit of a line, and a very LA crowd.
Walk Rodeo Drive, then drift onto Canon and the surrounding streets for more boutiques. It’s as much about people-watching as it is shopping.
If you want a scene, Il Pastaio is where you go. The energy is part of the draw, and the pasta follows through.
After lunch, take a moment to slow down. Even here, the pace softens if you let it.
Continue to TASCHEN Store Beverly Hills for beautifully produced books on fashion, architecture, and photography.
Step into Gagosian Beverly Hills, where the exhibitions are consistently world-class, and the space itself is worth seeing.
If you want to go further, the city’s public art and gallery scene is easy to explore here (https://gis.beverlyhills.org/vbh/publicart/).
Save time in your afternoon for spa appointments at The Maybourne, a 20,000-square-foot wellness space with a co-ed mineral pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and relaxation lounge.
For something more focused, a Japanese head massage at Head Spa EN is a deeply relaxing reset.
Dinner at Honor Bar is always a good call. It’s smaller, a little more relaxed, and consistently delivers
Day 3: The Beverly Hills Hotel

The Bevery Hills Hotel
Maru Espresso Bar is a great coffee stop.
Plan on lunch at The Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel, where nothing feels rushed, and that’s the point. I love the McCarthy salad, and the chocolate soufflé is not to be missed. Then, take one last walk through the neighborhood before you go.
Before you leave town, stop into The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills and Erewhon for a few things to take home.
