Things to do in St. Barths

St. Barths offers a little bit of everything—effortless luxury, natural beauty, and just the right dose of indulgence. Whether you’re in the mood to relax poolside, stroll through chic boutiques, join a lively beach party, or sink into a spa day, this island delivers.
Start your journey at St. Jean Beach, one of the island’s most iconic stretches of sand. It combines pristine white sand, clear blue waters, and the thrill of watching small planes land just overhead at the nearby airport. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at Sand Bar at the Eden Roc.
For a day of pure relaxation, head to Hotel Christopher. Set on the rocky coastline, this serene spot is ideal for lounging by the infinity pool with sweeping ocean views. Book a massage at the hotel’s waterfront spa, where treatment rooms open to the sound of waves crashing below—a sensory experience that redefines relaxation.
Hike to natural pools: Venture on a short hike to the Grand Fond natural pools, a series of tide-fed basins surrounded by volcanic rocks, perfect for a refreshing dip. This trail offers breathtaking ocean views and passes by unique rock formations. After approximately 15–30 minutes of walking, depending on your pace, you’ll arrive at the natural pools nestled among the rocks. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
St. Barths is known for its fashion-forward boutiques and effortless French style. Wander through Gustavia, the island’s capital, to discover designer outposts like Bulgari, Hermès, and Cartier, as well as curated local shops with linen caftans, handmade jewelry, and island-inspired art.
St. Barths may be known for its tranquility, but it’s also home to some of the most glamorous daytime parties in the Caribbean. Sundays at Nikki Beach are legendary—the undisputed epicenter of the island’s day party scene. Located on St. Jean Beach, it’s where champagne flows freely, DJs spin all afternoon, and guests dance barefoot in the sand.
Gyp Sea Beach Club: A newer favorite on Pelican Beach, this chic bohemian hangout blends toes-in-the-sand dining with a laid-back-but-lively crowd. Think slow lunches that turn into sunset sessions.
Nao Beach: Whether you’re there for a laid-back lunch or the signature Sunday party, the energy is magnetic. By afternoon, live DJ sets add a vibrant pulse to the setting, making it ideal for both lounging and socializing.
Island-hopping: Take a quick flight to neighboring islands like St. Martin & Anguilla for a change of scenery.
St. Barths is more than a destination—it’s a mood. It’s where barefoot beach days flow seamlessly into candlelit dinners, and where French charm meets island ease. Whether you’re here to explore, indulge, or unwind, one thing is certain: you’ll be planning your return before you even leave.
Places to eat & drink in St. Barths

Bonito: Bonito blends sophisticated French techniques with the bold flavors of ceviches and South American spices. The open-air setting overlooking Gustavia Harbor is perfect for sunset dinners with chic ambiance.
Tamarin: Nestled in a tropical garden, Tamarin offers a serene escape with beautifully presented dishes and a magical atmosphere. Great for a quiet date night or group dinner under the stars.
La Guérite: La Guérite brings lively Mediterranean dining with DJs and spontaneous dancing. Arrive for dinner, stay for the party. Saturdays and Sundays get especially festive.
O'Corail: Hidden right on the sand, O’Corail is a family-run gem with fresh seafood, grilled fish, and a simple, peaceful setting. Great for a post-swim lunch or sunset beer with your feet in the sand.
L’Isoletta: This laid-back Italian spot specializes in Roman-style pizza by the slice or whole pies. It’s quick, delicious, and perfect for a family-friendly dinner without the formal vibe of its sister restaurant, L’Isola.
Kiki-é Mo: A healthy café-style spot perfect for breakfast or a light lunch. Smoothie bowls, wraps, fresh salads, and great coffee in a breezy setting. It’s easy to miss but worth seeking out.
Black Ginger: An open-air Thai restaurant with a courtyard layout and red lantern glow. It’s tucked away and feels more peaceful than its central location suggests. The flavors are legit, and it’s a nice change of pace from French-heavy menus.
