Wonder of the Seas Royal Caribbean ship.
Curator’s statement

Get ready to experience an awesome cruise on Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas! I'm so excited to tell you all about the cool things you'll find on this fantastic ship. The Wonder of the Seas belongs to the Oasis class, known for being among the world's largest cruise ships. These ships are characterized by their immense size, typically spanning over 1,180 feet in length. They can accommodate approximately 5,700 passengers at double occupancy or up to a maximum of 6,988. The Oasis class ship style introduced the concept of "neighborhoods" on board, where different areas of the ship offer distinct experiences. Examples include Central Park, the Boardwalk, and the Royal Promenade. These neighborhoods provide many different areas to have a great time on your vacation! Royal Caribbean ships are perfect for family fun, and the Wonder of the Seas really delivers!

Cool Features and Cabins

  • Perfect Rooms for Everyone: There are lots of different room categories to pick from - small ones without windows or larger suites with great views. From the interior to the grandest of suites, whatever your budget is, I can assist in making your stay super enjoyable.

  • Yummy Food at restaurants like Wonderland and Chops Grille: Try out specialty restaurants like "Wonderland" and "Chops Grille" for some delicious meals. Wonderland is a fun place where you can try creative dishes beyond your wildest imagination, and Chops Grille is perfect for tasty steaks and seafood in a fancy setting. There are an assortment of specialty restaurants you can choose from, including Giovanni's Kitchen and Wine Bar (Italian), Izumi (Japanese) and Hooked Seafood, just to name a few!

  • Fun Shows at the Aqua Theater and the Royal Theater: Watch awesome shows at places like "Aqua Theater" and the "Royal Theater." Aqua Theater boasts the deepest pool at sea, flanked by two 30-foot diving platforms that set the scene for mesmerizing dive spectaculars. The Royal Theater has Broadway-style performances that you'll love. Seeing a full-length Broadway-style show while sailing on a ship is so cool!

Fun and Relaxation on the Ship

  • Excitement at the Boardwalk: If you like fun, go to the Boardwalk – a section of the ship that is reminiscent of an old-time seaside pier. Here you will find a working carousel, along with fun dining experiences and outdoor seating areas.

  • Chill by the Pool at the Solarium and Beach Pool: Relax by the pool at the "Solarium" or have fun at the "Beach Pool." The fore-located Solarium (upper level 2 of 2) is the ship’s adults-only relaxation complex spanning 2 decks and covered by a glass rooftop. The Beach Pool (saltwater) has a sloped entry and shaded seating/umbrellas. Both places are awesome for kicking back and enjoying the beautiful ocean views.

  • Spa and Exercise at Vitality Spa and Fitness Center: Treat yourself to the "Vitality Spa" with relaxing and therapeutic wellness treatments. Stay active at the "Fitness Center" with great equipment and fitness classes for all levels.

  • Try the FlowRider surf simulator: The FlowRider generates a continuous flow of water over a surface, creating a simulated wave. Guests can try their hand at surfing or bodyboarding with the assistance of instructors. This attraction allows passengers to experience the thrill of riding ocean waves in a controlled environment. It's a popular feature on many Royal Caribbean ships, including the Wonder of the Seas.

  • Test your skills rock climbing: The Wonder of the Seas boasts two rock climbing walls that span several floors up the aft side of the ship. From beginners to speed climbers, everyone can enjoy an unparalleled view from 40 feet above deck. Included in your fare, with no reservation required.

Explore New Places and Exciting Adventures

  • Discover Cool Destinations: Wonder of the Seas takes you to amazing places around the world. From the Caribbean to Europe, each stop is a chance for awesome adventures and exploring different cultures.

  • Fun Shore Excursions: Choose the adventures you like with special tours at each stop. Explore old ruins, go on exciting adventures, or just relax on beautiful beaches - you get to decide.
