Advisor - Wonder of the Seas: Cruising the Eastern Caribbean
Curator’s statement

Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas is the best Oasis class ship. Perfect Day at Coco Cay in the Bahamas has something for everyone from Chill Island to Thrill Island. St. Thomas has amazing white sand beaches. St. Kitts has a combination bus and train touring the island delineating important historical sites.

Things to do aboard Wonder of the Seas

Royal Caribbean provides something for every age group. From dinner and a show to ice skating lesson and surfing on the Flow Rider. Yes, all on a ship and you only pack once for multiple destinations. My favorite things to do in the Caribbean Islands are definitely relaxing by the beach while the salty sea air replenishes my soul. The excursions are a must as you get to experience local cuisine, enriched history, and vibrant music.

Places to eat & drink aboard Wonder of the Seas

On the ship Wonder of the Seas, we enjoyed dining in the main dining hall, the Mason Jar (Southern Comfort Food), 150 Central Park (Elevated Cuisine), Izumi’s Hibachi, and at the market in St. Thomas. They had great snacks and fresh fruit. On St. Kitts, we ate at Sweet Cane Restaurant. We ate conch fritters and fish and chips.

Need to know

Some tips and tricks with cruises: Always fly in at least the day before in case of flight delays. On embarkation day, the buffet is a madhouse- go to Park Cafe as it is quiet and you can grab a quick bite to eat. Travel lightly as you never wear everything you take. We only travel with a backpack and carry-on. Don’t worry about things to do. There are always things to do, especially on sea days. Enjoy, relax, and rejuvenate yourself.
