Things to do

  • Catch a Broadway-style show: With shows featuring wonderfully talented musicians, singers, and dancers, you won’t want to miss each evening show. And since they run twice per evening (7 pm and 9:30 pm), you’ll have a chance to schedule your evening around one of them. Sit on the balcony for a less-crowded atmosphere.

  • Pool deck: If you want to be where the action is on the ship, the pool deck is where it’s at. Catch the Sail Away Party on the first day. You’ll enjoy live music with Caribbean vibes as you sip your margarita by the pool. Purchase one of the many drink plan options that Royal Caribbean offers and you won’t have to worry about costs or gratuities.

  • Learn how to fold towel animals: If you’ve ever sailed on a cruise ship, you’re likely familiar with finding fun towel animals in your stateroom. Enjoy watching just how they create these fun and creative animals. You might just be asked to help with the demonstration. This is a fun talent to take home with you for the next time you have guests stay at your house!

  • Rock wall climbing: If you’re feeling adventurous, try out the rock wall. Facing aft (back of ship), you’ll climb high. Check the daily schedule as there are specific times the rock wall is open for climbing.

  • Wine or rum tasting and cupcake decorating: Sign up for an engaging activity onboard. These are typically add-ons to your cruise fare, and can be a fun bonding experience.

  • Murder mystery game: Engage with your girls in a fun group game with intriguing puzzles and escape room style clues as you compete against other groups. You’ll enjoy getting to know other game-lovers onboard as well! This activity is a fun icebreaker to get your trip off to a great start!

  • Chacchoben Mayan ruins: Explore ancient Mayan ruins in Costa Maya. This is a must-see excursion. The ruins are only recently discovered and are amazingly in tact. Book locally and you might just enjoy a local Mayan meal at a village home as well.

Places to eat & drink

Windjammer buffet

  • Windjammer: This is the primary buffet restaurant onboard. You’ll find just about every type of food that you enjoy! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served.

  • Main dining room: Enjoy an elevated dining experience each evening as you get to know your waiter/waitress. Choose from a different menu each evening. Enjoy optional themed evenings such as formal night, white night, and tropical night, where you can dress appropriately to fit the theme.

  • Park Cafe: This poolside dining option is a quick grab. You’ll wait in line to get pizza, sandwiches, desserts, salads, and more. The food is fun and simple, but still delicious and convenient.

  • Chops Grille: Enjoy a special evening at a specialty dining restaurant onboard. With rave reviews, you won’t regret spending a little to enjoy a wonderful meal!

  • Cafe Latte-Tudes: If you purchase a drink package, enjoy a specialty coffee or hot chocolate at this Starbucks location. Even if you don’t purchase the drink package, the prices are reasonable as well.

  • Chef’s Table: For an extra special celebratory dinner, you’ll want to make a reservation for a spot at Chef’s Table. Feel like a VIP with this lovely formal dining experience that is sure to taste exquisite!

Need to know

Enchantment of the Seas is geared more toward adults as it does not have a water slide. However, you will find youth programs available onboard.

The fitness center onboard is lovely with many workout machines for use. Arrive early to workout classes as they seem to fill up quickly and run out of space. Enjoy quiet and windy walks around the jogging track to start your day.

Don’t miss the Captain’s talk, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the ship and get an inside look into what it is like to captain a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
