Things to do in Sevilla

The fabulous architecture of Sevilla
Real Alcazar is the royal palace with incredible architecture and rich history. The interior and exterior spaces are gorgeous. (Make a reservation early).
The Seville Cathedral is a must-see for its vast size—it is one of the largest cathedrals in the world.
The Barrio Santa Cruz neighborhood is best seen with a walking tour to learn about the history of this old Jewish Quarter. I found it fascinating.
A nighttime Tapas Food Tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed trying all the local specialties and experiencing off-the-beaten-track establishments from a local chef.
The Triana district is fun to check out in the mornings to see the food markets and shop local ceramics where it originates. It is an easy walk from central Sevilla. Be sure to check out the bull-fighting ring on your way over to Triana.
Places to eat & drink in Sevilla

Bar El Comercio—the best churros in Spain!
La Isla is a special-occasion restaurant with incredible service and the best seafood. We loved the staff-to-guest ratio for a memorable experience on our last night in Sevilla.
El Pinton has inside or outside dining and offers anything from meat dishes to pizza to seafood plates. We liked sitting outside and people-watching in the evening.
Pizzeria Napole was recommended by our hotel, and boy were we happy they did! The owner is from Naples and crafts incredible pizzas and calzones to go. We brought our pizza back to the rooftop at our hotel and enjoyed it looking out over the city!
Bar El Comercio is a must! You might locate it by its long lines all day long. This place is famous for their fresh churros with chocolate. The owners started this local spot after winning the lottery and came back to their birthplace to open this legendary spot!
Need to know
Allow extra time to just stroll the narrow streets and get lost. This is a very safe place to be-day or night. For some great shopping, make sure to check out Massimo Dutti for stylish men’s and women’s clothing at a fraction of what it would be back home!
