Things to do in Oahu

Waimea Bay
Crystal clear water, perfect waves, and the kind of beach that makes you want to stay all day. Cliff-jumping for the brave, tanning for the rest of us.
Makaha Beach
Less touristy, more local. Great surf, golden sand, and unreal sunsets that feel like a private show just for you.
Haleiwa Town
A chill little surf town full of charm. Grab some acai, shop the local boutiques, and don’t skip the shaved ice.
Ka’ena Point
A wild, untouched stretch of coastline that feels like the edge of the world. You can hike in and spot monk seals if you’re lucky.
Ka’a’awa Beach
Tucked along the windward coast, this one’s a peaceful stunner. Mountain views on one side, turquoise water on the other. Total main character energy.
Ke Iki Beach
Massive winter waves and a magical beach vibe year-round. It’s less crowded, super scenic, and perfect for watching the ocean do its thing. Has an iconic view with a church tower, too!
Places to eat & drink in Oahu

The most delicious Bloody Mary at Cheeseburger in Paradise!
Crouching Lion Restaurant
A local fave with killer views and delicious island-inspired dishes. The vibe is laid back, but the food is full of flavor. Get the fish.
Pho Nina
The North Shore’s unexpected hidden gem. This Vietnamese spot serves up comforting pho, crispy spring rolls, and the kind of broth that hits your soul.
Kahuku Food Trucks
Everyone flocks to Giovanni’s for the garlic shrimp, but don’t sleep on Da Bald Guy. The flavor is unreal and the portions are generous. It’s worth the wait every time.
Duke’s Waikiki
An Oahu classic that hits every time. Right on the beach with live music, strong Mai Tais, and that famous Hula Pie that somehow always disappears too fast. Great for sunset vibes and island energy.
King Thai Boat Noodles
Tiny spot, huge flavor. Their pad thai!!! Yum! This place serves up rich, comforting Thai boat noodles that’ll ruin all other broths for you. Super casual, super delicious, and wildly underrated.
Cheeseburger in Paradise
Not just a catchy name. This spot is all about messy, juicy burgers and island vibes. But the real star? Their Bloody Marys. Stacked, spicy, and practically a meal on their own. Perfect for a boozy brunch or a laid-back lunch with an ocean breeze.
DECK.
Come for the food, stay for the view. Located right across from Waikiki Beach, DECK. has front-row seats to Diamond Head and some of the best cocktails around. Brunch hits, dinner is solid, and golden hour here is *chef’s kiss*.
Need to know
There are Ross Dress For Less stores everywhere in downtown. Get an umbrella and chairs instead of renting every day to save some money! Add a pool float for the calm waters in front of The Twin Fin.
Don’t skip Pearl Harbor. Intense, moving, and important.
Tantalus Point Lookout gives you a giant viewpoint of the entire west side of the island, including downtown and Pearl Harbor.
Sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen!!!!!! The sun is SO strong. You WILL burn.
