Day 1: Trip to Paradise

Kickstart your day with a trip to the off-leash paradise of Tanner Park, where your pooch can take a refreshing dip in the creek. Then, set off for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, a picturesque hiking haven with pioneer history. Refuel with lunch on the dog-friendly patio of Squatters Pub. In the afternoon, explore the wonders of the Utah Olympic Park, where leashed dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas.

Day 2: Road Trip

Up for a road trip? It’s a drive, but it’s worth it: the Bonneville Salt Flats. About an hour and a half from downtown, the Bonneville Salt Flats are an absolutely unique experience. Ever wonder what it would look like to walk on the surface of the moon. This is the closest you’ll get. The Salt Flats are also dog friendly but remember to be respectful of other visitors. Afterward, treat your four-legged friend to some well-deserved off-leash playtime at Liberty Park's dog park. For dinner, savor a delightful meal on the dog-friendly patio of Red Rock Brewing Co.
