Things to do in Rome

The Colosseum is one of the attractions in Rome.

Historical Landmarks:

The Colosseum in Rome. Touring this incredible engineering feat and feeling the emotions of the gladiators as you walk through the hallowed halls is an experience you can not miss!

The Roman Forum. Take time to walk through the incredible history of Rome and witness what this city used to be.

The Trevi Fountain. Make your wish come true by tossing an euro over your shoulder! Enjoy an expresso and a pastry from my favorite cafe by the Trevi Fountain, L'Antico Forno di Piazza Trevi.

The Pantheon. Walk through this incredible feat that will take you back in time. Don't forget to get your halo photo from the opening above!

The Vatican City. Whether you are reglious or not, this is a can't miss while in Rome! Visit St. Peter's Square, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel.

The Spanish Steps. Enjoy these steps that have been shown in countless fashion shows and movies. Come prepared with your best pose!

Coastal Cities:

Amalfi. This beautiful city has so much to offer from great beaches, cute shops, and amazing food!

Capri Island. This island can be a great day trip! Walk through the city built into the mountains. Then enjoy a boat tour around the island to see the incredible landscapes. Don't forget to visit the Blue Grotto, a sight you can not miss!

Naples. Dive into the history of Italy once again and don't forget to get a Neapolitan pizza!

Positano. The panoramic views make Positano one of the most picturesque villages along this coast! Relax and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets!

Day trips

Capri Island. Catch the ferry from Naples and explore this gorgeous island! Walk through the beautiful city built into the mountains and take in the panoramic views! Don't forget to take a boat tour around the island to take in all the landscapes Capri has to offer. Finish the trip with a boat ride to the Blue Grotto! An unforgettable experience!

Places to eat & drink in Rome

One of the known restaurants in Rome.

L'Antico Forno di Piazza Trevi. Enjoy a quick expresso and a pastry while making your wish at the Trevi Fountain.

Ambrosia Rooftop Restaurant. This upscale restaurant is perfect for a date night or to take in the amazing views of Rome!

Ristorante L'Abside. This is one of my personal favorites in Amalfi. The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Da Vincenzo Positano 1958. This restaurant offers authentic Italian dishes that will take your breathe away!

Al Grottino on the Island of Capri. Al Grottino had some of the best seafood I had in all of Italy!

Ristorante Mattozzi in Naples. This is a favorite of the locals and for good reason! If the owner, Alfonso Mattozzi, is in, you will be greeted as an old friend, adding to the charm of this restaurant!

Come il Latte. This was one of my favorite places to get an amazing dessert while in Rome!

Bono Bottega Nostrana - San Pietro. This is a great budget friendly restaurant near the Vatican!

Cafe MeMe. This is a great spot to stop and enjoy breakfast!
