Curator’s statement

With a plethora of bars, breweries, and activities San Diego is a prime destination for bachelor parties (or bachelorette parties). It's the ideal place that can bring new and old friends together to celebrate the groom to be. You can curate an adventure packed itinerary or keep it low key and minimal. Whatever you're after, San Diego is bound to have something for the group.

Things to do in San Diego

There are plenty of neighborhoods to explore in the San Diego area, but I'd suggest finding accommodations in the Gaslamp District, especially if you’re planning on taking advantage of the night life. While you can spend your days on the beach, shopping in Coronado, hitting up the local Gun Range, spending your morning golfing, catching a Padres game, snorkeling in La Jolla or brewery hopping around Little Italy and Point Loma, choosing accommodations in the Gaslamp District will make it easier and safer to get back at the end of the night.

Day Trips

Take the Amtrak Pacific Coastline to LA (about a 3-hour trip on way) or bring your passport and join a tour across the border to Tijuana.

If you’re a beer lover, I’d suggest hopping around to Bolt Brewery and Ballast Point in Little Italy before making your way to the Point Loma area to try Modern Times Brewery, Deft Brewing, Ocean Beach Brewery, or KiloWatt Brewing - that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to breweries!

Looking for the best food in town? My Ideal day of eating when visiting San Diego would look like this: Breakfast is either Breakfast Republic or the Fig Tree Cafe, Lunch was headed to old town for some tacos, or enjoying pizza at the Pizza Port in Point Loma and topping the night off with Serranos Street Tacos and Restaurant.

Need to Know

Regardless of how you choose to spend your time here, you are guaranteed to leave wanting to book your next trip back. Be warned that San Diego Comic Con is a MASSIVE event that happens every July. If that’s your cup of tea I’d highly recommend it, but if you want to avoid extreme crowds, and marked up prices be sure to book around this event.
