Things to do in London, England

Wander through Westminster: There’s nothing quite like seeing Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament in person. It’s London at its most regal—history, power, and beauty all in one walk.
Stroll through Hyde Park: Londoners treat Hyde Park like their backyard. I love walking around the Serpentine, renting a deck chair, or stopping at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen for a coffee by the lake.
Dine in Fitzrovia: From Peruvian tasting menus to modern Chinese under cherry blossoms, Fitzrovia is one of my favorite neighborhoods to eat through. Each restaurant feels like its own little adventure.
Discover hidden alleys in the City of London: Slip beyond the skyscrapers and you’ll find secret courtyards, centuries-old pubs, and narrow lanes that whisper stories from medieval times.
Cruise the Thames: See London from a different angle—the river. A sunset Thames Clipper ride or private boat tour gives you a fresh view of the city’s iconic bridges and skyline.
Visit Buckingham Palace and St. James' Park: There’s something magical about watching the Changing of the Guard—that perfect blend of ceremony, color, and royal tradition. I love following it with a stroll through St. James’ Park, where you can catch a postcard-perfect view of the palace across the lake.
Get lost in Camden Town: Camden’s energy is electric—a mix of live music, vintage stalls, and canalside street food. It’s bold, a bit wild, and one of the best places in London for people-watching and creative inspiration.
Explore London’s Museum Quarter: The V&A, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum sit side by side in South Kensington—a dream for art lovers, design enthusiasts, and curious minds alike. It’s a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon in the city.
Soak up art and atmosphere at Trafalgar Square: Trafalgar Square feels like the artistic heart of London—grand, lively, and full of creative spirit. I love wandering through the National Gallery to see masterpieces by Monet and Van Gogh before stepping outside to watch the world go by.
Pub hop around St. Paul's: The area around St. Paul’s Cathedral hides some of London’s oldest and most atmospheric pubs. I love ending a day of sightseeing, admiring St. Paul’s Cathedral with a pint in a wood-paneled bar that feels like it hasn’t changed in centuries.

Best for: A stylish night out, whether you’re seated by the open kitchen or tucked into a cozy corner.Bonus: Forty Dean Street (Soho–Fitzrovia edge): Tucked just beyond Fitzrovia’s borders, Forty Dean Street is a cozy Italian gem in the heart of Soho. Warm lighting, a lively atmosphere, and a menu that delivers comfort and flavor in equal measure.
What I’d go back for: The chicken Milanese is golden, crisp, and perfectly seasoned, while the seafood pasta brings that coastal Italian freshness to London. It’s the kind of place that feels like a secret you’re happy to share.
