Curator’s statement
Mallorca is one of the most magical places to vacation, but over the past couple of years it has become extremely crowded and touristy. This guide helps you stay away from all that, and experience the local, but luxurious way in the amazing towns near Sóller.

Day 1: Barcelona arrivals, bold architecture & standout dinners

View from The EDITION rooftop
Fly into Barcelona. You can fly direct to Mallorca, but only currently on United from NYC. Fly Delta or American to Barcelona and stay at the beautiful EDITION Barcelona so you can have a night to experience the stunning architecture and unreal food that makes Barcelona what it is. You must must have dinner at Casa Costa (Yes, CharlieXCX did have her birthday dinner here...)
Day 2 Market snacks, island arrivals & natural wine nights

Hotel Corazon
Before flying out to Mallorca, stop by the Mercat de la Boqueria (only a 10 min walk from The EDITION) and pick up some yummy snacks for your flight.
After arriving in Palma, get a private transfer to Hotel Corazon where you’ll stay for your first night. Marvel at the stunning views and design while you eat a fabulous lunch on their outdoor terrace. Enjoy a swim in the pool and then head to the locals-only Bar Bodega in Biniaraix for dinner and the best vibes over many glasses of natural wine. Head to Mister McCoy’s Island Ices for the best ice cream negroni float you’ve ever had, before heading back to the hotel.
Day 3: Mountain hikes, spa time & terrace dinners

Corel-la Café
Wake up and take in your insane surroundings over some breakfast. Head to Fornalutx, where you’ll have an amazing matcha or coffee at Core.la Café before heading off to our favorite hike on the Fornalutx Path. After a couple hours of hiking, you’ll be starving, so head back to Corazon for lunch before packing up and checking into the La Residencia in Deià. Pamper yourself with their amazing spa menu and enjoy a beautiful dinner on the outdoor terrace.
Day 4: Cala views, coastal strolls & sunset suppers

Port of Sóller
Wake up and enjoy breakfast by the pool, before heading down to the Deià beach to soak in the stunning views of the Cala de Deià. Have lunch at Ca’n Lluc. Check out and head to Jumeirah where you’ll be staying for your last night. Walk around Sóller port and soak up the local experience. Watch the magnificent sunset from the port and then enjoy your last dinner at another amazing local restaurant, Blai.
Need to know
Best months to travel are late or early summer. Mid summer can be unbearably hot and over crowded.
