Things to do on Ibiza

Visit the hippy markets: Step back into the spirit of the ’60s at Ibiza’s legendary hippy markets. Browse colorful stalls filled with handmade jewelry, bohemian clothing, art, and souvenirs that capture the island’s free-spirited vibe.
Discover Ibiza’s villages: Beyond the beaches and nightlife, Ibiza is dotted with charming whitewashed villages. Stroll through narrow flower-filled streets and lively squares where life moves slowly. Don’t miss: San Joan de Labritja, Santa Inés, Es Cubells, Santa Gertrudis, Sant Miquel de Balansat, Sant Mateu d’Albarca. And of course, make time for Eivissa’s Old Town (Dalt Vila)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cobbled streets, stunning views, and a growing culinary scene.
Explore cliffs & coves: Between Ibiza’s famous sandy stretches lie hidden coves and dramatic cliffs. Swim in turquoise waters, snorkel through secret caves, or try diving at one of the island’s most scenic underwater spots. These tucked-away escapes offer the perfect balance of adventure and tranquility.
Take a day trip to Formentera: Just a short ferry ride away, Formentera feels like a world apart. This unspoiled island is all about barefoot simplicity, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, bohemian spirit. Rent a bike, lounge on some of Europe’s best beaches, and spend a day soaking in the slower rhythm of island life.
Experience a club in Ibiza: Book a bed at Ushuaïa Ibiza and settle in for the show—whether it’s David Guetta, Calvin Harris, or another global headliner on stage. Expect high-energy beats, glamorous vibes, and the kind of spectacle that makes Ibiza world-famous. Dress to impress—and don’t forget something that sparkles.
Places to eat & drink on Ibiza

Es Torrent: A white-tablecloth classic tucked into a quiet cove, Es Torrent is known for its bullit de peix and seafood paella—both worth every euro.
La Paloma: Garden dining at its most charming. Lunch leans Israeli-inspired with falafel, mezze, and fresh vegetables. Unpretentious, joyful, and quintessentially Ibiza.
Restaurant Cala Gracioneta: Set on a small bay with turquoise waters, this terrace restaurant is perfect for a long, post-swim lunch. Light, modern dishes pair beautifully with the sea view.
Ca na Pepeta: A countryside favorite where you dine under trees on local produce. Perfect for families, groups of friends, or a slow solo lunch with rosé and a book.
Pou d’Es Lleó: Rustic, no-frills, and beloved for its paella. This is seaside dining at its simplest and most peaceful.
La Escollera: A family-run gem on Es Cavallet beach serving Mediterranean dishes with a strong focus on seafood.
El Chiringuito: Also on Es Cavallet, this relaxed beach club offers fresh, seasonal plates in a fun yet laid-back setting.
Need to know
How to get there:
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is small, efficient, and only 10–20 minutes from most of the island’s key areas. Direct flights from major European cities are plentiful in summer, while travelers from further afield typically connect via Madrid or Barcelona.
Pro tip: book your airport transfer ahead of time. Taxis can be hard to find during peak hours, and nothing dampens the Ibiza buzz faster than waiting in a long line with your luggage under the sun.
