Day 1: Discover Willemstad with a local guide

Street art in Willemstad
Start your journey in Willemstad by meeting Helvig from Curaçao 360 Private Tours for a flavorful food adventure through the city. Sample the island’s vibrant cuisine while exploring the colorful neighborhoods of Punda and Otrobanda, both part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through the charming Scharloo district with its restored plantation houses, then cross the iconic Queen Emma Bridge back to Otrobanda. Don’t miss a stop in the artistic Kura Hulanda Village and nearby Kaya Kaya street art before enjoying a delicious dinner at CSpice.
Day 2: Dive into Curaçao’s underwater paradise

Crystal-blue waters at one of the many beaches on Curaçao's western coast
Curaçao’s crystal-clear waters are home to vibrant coral reefs and dazzling marine life—perfect for snorkeling or diving. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned diver, Goby Divers offers an unforgettable experience beneath the surface. After a day exploring the ocean, head back to Willemstad and enjoy authentic island flavors at Rozendaels, where Caribbean and Curaçaoan cuisine come alive.
Day 3: Adventure awaits in West Curaçao

You can find iguanas all over the island
Hop on an ATV and explore the island’s rugged west side for an adrenaline-filled day. Your off-road adventure will take you through historical caves once used as hiding places by enslaved people and to the scenic Savannah di San Pedro, dotted with giant wind turbines. Along the way, spot flamingos near Salina Sint Michiel, then unwind at Kokomo Beach with a swim and a cold drink. End your day with an incredible dinner at Kome in Punda.
Day 4: Nature & exploration up north

Head north to begin your adventure at Christoffel National Park, home to Curaçao’s highest peak and an incredible variety of flora and fauna. Enjoy scenic drives, birdwatching, or challenge yourself with a hike up Christoffel Mountain for breathtaking island views. Be sure to start your hike early as it will get too hot later in the day.
Continue to Shete Boka National Park, where powerful waves crash against dramatic cliffs and sea turtles nest in the rocky inlets. Cool off with a swim alongside turtles at Playa Piskado and don’t miss stopping at Grote Knip, known to be the island’s most iconic and beautiful beach. Enjoy a light lunch and pelican-watching at Karakter Beach Lounge, and end the day with a delicious dinner at Caleo Crudos y Parrilla in Kura Hulanda Village.
Day 5: Sail away to Klein Curaçao

Sunset from Fort Nassau
Set out on a catamaran day trip to Klein Curaçao, a small uninhabited island just six miles offshore. Its powdery white sand and turquoise waters make it the ultimate tropical escape for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Sip an ice-cold cocktail with a splash of Blue Curaçao and enjoy a beachfront BBQ before sailing back. For dinner, treat yourself to a four-course chef’s tasting menu at Fort Nassau, where panoramic sunset views over Willemstad create the perfect finale.
Need to know
Rent a car while you are on the island. While taxis and Ubers are available in Curaçao, they tend to be pricey. Driving and navigation on the island is easy and free of stress. It is challenging to get around the island by public bus.
While credit cards are widely accepted, always have some cash. The official currency is the Carribean Guilder, but US dollars are widely accepted. The Guilder is pegged against the US dollar at a fixed exchange rate of USD 1 = CG 1.79.
As part of the ABC islands, it is outside of the hurricane belt making Curaçao generally a year-round destination. Though December through April have the best weather with the summer months getting hotter. There is a constant breeze anywhere on the island, so plan accordingly.
Due to Curaçao strong ties to the Netherlands, it follows the European standard for power outlets. Be prepared to have a European adapter (type C or F) and only use dual-voltage devices that support 220V.
