Advisor - Boca Raton Resort: The Complete Guide
Curator’s statement

The Boca Raton continues to be one of my most recommended and favorite resorts in the United States. Spread across 337 acres and home to five distinct hotel accommodations, The Boca Raton truly offers something for everyone. It’s expansive enough that you never need to leave the grounds, yet ideally located if you choose to venture out—surrounded by exceptional dining, shopping, and vibrant nightlife.

Things to do at The Boca Raton

Indulge in the private Palerma Spa pool after a ritual bath and massage in the Forbes Five-Star awarded spa.

One of my favorite things about The Boca Raton is that you never have to leave the property—it truly has everything you need for the perfect getaway.

On-shore activities

The resort offers an impressive variety of activities: 15 restaurants, a championship golf course, pickleball and tennis courts, bocce, a fitness center, and boutique shopping. The tennis courts are a personal favorite, with striped awnings and pros dressed in classic Wimbledon whites. A day on the courts is a must every time I visit Boca.

On the water

Water adventures abound, from wave runner rentals and banana boat rides to pedal kayaks, boat rentals, and private charters.

Pools & cabanas

With eight pools on property, there’s something for everyone. The Harborside Pool stands out with its lazy river, water slides, and Flowrider (available for an additional fee). I highly recommend reserving a cabana—it’s the best way to enjoy the pool with guaranteed seating and all the comforts at your fingertips.

Family fun

For families, the Banyan Bunch kids’ club is a dream. With full- and half-day programs, children can enjoy arts and crafts, an indoor treehouse, and plenty of splash-pad and pool time.

Wellness & relaxation

If wellness is your passion, The Boca Raton delivers. Spa Palmera is truly one of the most spectacular spas I’ve ever experienced. Inspired by Spain’s Alhambra Palace, it features intricate mosaics, waterfall whirlpools, a private pool, and a ritual bath room. Guests can de-stress in the Himalayan Salt inhalation room, detox in the sauna or steam room, and indulge in a ritual soak paired with a mint facial before finishing with the massage of their choice. The spa also offers The Biostation, specializing in IV therapy, anti-aging, and medical wellness treatments.

Places to eat & drink at The Boca Raton

Sadelle’s is the ultimate New York deli, offering five kinds of house-cured fish and bagel towers.

With 15 dining options, every meal at The Boca Raton is an experience. Here are some of my favorites (reservations are a must for dinner).

  • Sadelle’s (Cloisters): A New York–style gem serving lunch and dinner with flair. My husband loved the triple-decker roast beef and turkey sandwich (the half portion is huge!). Don’t miss the house-made challah Benedicts or the iconic smoked salmon bagel tower.

  • Cloister Courtyard (Cloisters): Perfect for a light and quick start to the day with coffee, fresh pastries, pressed juices, smoothies, or an açaí bowl.

  • Marisol (Beach Tower): This newly reimagined Mediterranean-inspired restaurant offers stunning seaside dining. The new indoor dining room and bar overlook the beach, and the seafood tower is an unforgettable treat.

  • Flamingo Grill (Golf Course): An “idyllic mid-century chophouse” that evokes South Florida’s golden age. The steaks are excellent—and yes, there’s even a kids’ steak option.

  • Flybridge (Yacht Club): An exclusive dining experience for Yacht Club and Club members. Guests can peek into the open kitchen while enjoying beautifully presented dishes, like a five-course tasting menu that begins with a bread course featuring unique salts and spreads.

  • Japanese Bocce Club (Cloisters): A must for sushi and wagyu lovers. My family loved the crispy rice, bento boxes, and whimsical Maneki-Neko cat mugs and three dimensional fish-shaped plates.

  • Palm Court (Cloisters): My favorite happy hour spot, with emerald-green Art Deco design and a 360-degree bar overlooking the marina. Enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, live music on weekends, and unbeatable people-watching.

Need to know

There’s something about The Boca Raton Resort that always washes over me with a wave of nostalgia. Maybe it’s the history—the fact that the resort turns 100 in 2026—combined with its remarkable ability to preserve its architectural charm and cultural essence while still evolving to offer modern, luxurious experiences.

This resort is beyond special and strives for the best customer experience. In fact, it has a “no-tip” policy to ensure that their employees are genuinely working as a team to create the best customer experience possible. The Boca Raton continues to be one of my most recommended and favorite resorts in the United States.

The resort is conveniently located to West Palm Beach (PBI) and Fort Lauderdale airports (FLL) with a 30-minute drive or ride-share. Getting around the resort is a breeze, thanks to the charming Moke rides, convenient shuttles, and even a water taxi! No matter where you’re staying on the property, exploring all it has to offer is both easy and fun.

I’ve visited this property multiple times, staying in different accommodations for both family vacations with my family of five and romantic couples’ getaways. And honestly, I fall in love with it a little more each time.
