Day 1-2: Arrive to your hotel and visit Corcovado Mountain

On your first day in Brazil, arrive and settle into your hotel.

The next day, your first stop should be a visit to Corcovado Mountain. Take an eco-friendly electric train through the Atlantic Forest on your way to see the statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the world's seven wonders. Have lunch in Santa Teresa at Aprazível or share a drink at Bar do Mineiro. Watch the sunset at Sugarloaf Mountain.

Day 3-4: Enjoy Brazil's beaches

Spend your third day at the beaches of Prainha and Grumar. Hire a guide to hike to the summit of the famous Sugarloaf mountain or tour Ipanema and Copacabana on a bicycle.

On day four, travel to the Marau Peninsula and check in at Casa dos Arandis for a leisurely two to three day beach holiday.

Day 5: Spend the day at Taipu de Fora Beach

Aerial view of the sand and ocean during daytime

Head to Taipu de Fora beach, one of Brazil's top five most beautiful beaches. If you time your trip right, visit during a full moon (and low tide) for one of the most striking scenes — the reflection of a full moon on a calm and transparent sea.
