Day 1: Arrival & first impressions

The ferry to Paros was smooth and an easy ride (we were coming from Milos).

Upon arrival at the port in Paros, we were greeted by a car service arranged through our hotel, Nauma. The car took us to our accommodation in Naoussa, a charming small town on the island (I would definitely suggest staying in Naoussa above anywhere else). Our room wasn’t ready upon arrival, but we had prearranged for a vintage buggy to be delivered to the hotel. This was fun, but the buggy was not easy to drive, and we found that we walked much more on Paros as most of our time was spent in Naoussa. Parking is also tough here. If I were to go back, I would not rent a car, or only rent a car for one day while here. We parked the buggy in a nearby lot and explored the picturesque streets of Naoussa.

The shopping experience was unlike anything else we encountered on the trip. The streets were lined with shops offering unique, one-of-a-kind items, and the atmosphere was absolutely dreamy. After wandering the streets, we grabbed a quick gyro before checking into our room at Nauma.

Accommodation: Hotel Nauma

Our room at Nauma was incredibly spacious, featuring a separate living area with a TV and a pull-out trundle couch. The bedroom had another TV and led to an outdoor seating area with two full-body lounge chairs perfect for sunbathing or relaxing. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower, and we even had our own private hot tub. After changing into our swimsuits, we headed to Cabana Beach Club, a well-known beach club in Paros. The music was fantastic, the atmosphere lively, and we managed to secure two front-row loungers. We stayed until sunset before returning to our hotel to get ready for dinner.

Dining in Naoussa

That evening, we dined at Luaz, a restaurant located right on the water in the heart of Naoussa. We shared a seafood linguine, a fresh spicy tuna sushi roll, and fried zucchini—all of which were exceptional. The outdoor seating made the experience even more enjoyable.

The nightlife in Paros is a major reason we chose this island. The bars are packed, the music is incredible, and the overall vibes are unmatched. We quickly learned that many bars don’t start getting busy until around 1:30 am and stay open until 4 am. Our first night out was long but unforgettable, visiting Agosta and Barbbarossa, two side-by-side bars.

Day 2: Semi-private boat experience

Gourmet at sea: when the chef turns a boat ride into a five-star dining experience

Our second day was dedicated to a semi-private boat excursion, which exceeded all expectations. We were picked up from our hotel and transferred to the port, where we boarded a dinghy to reach a larger vessel anchored nearby. The boat hosted only eight guests, plus the captain, chef, and a crew member, making it feel incredibly private.

The boat was spacious and well-equipped with paddleboards, floats, snorkeling gear, and other water sports equipment. Although the wind kept us mostly on board, this turned out to be a blessing. The onboard chef prepared an incredible spread of food and drinks, keeping us well fed and refreshed throughout the day.

After a sun-soaked day on the boat, we opted for a low-key dinner at Greasy Spoon—a delicious burger spot—and enjoyed some late-night shopping, as the shops in Naoussa remain open until around midnight.

Day 3: Crios Beach Club

Sun, sand, and beats on repeat

On our third day and final day in Paros, we visited Crios Beach Club, which I consider the best beach club in Paros. Our vintage buggy was valet parked, and we secured two beds on the second row of daybeds. We were greeted with cold water and menus featuring fantastic food and drinks. Despite strong winds elsewhere on the island, the waters within the beach club itself were very calm.

The music, DJ, and overall vibe were incredible, and there were even designer shops like Golden Goose within the club. Visiting Crios Beach Club is an absolute must for anyone traveling to Paros.

That evening, we dined at Stilvi, where every dish was exquisite. The highlight for us was the dumplings appetizer—they were out of this world.

Tips for travelers

  • Timing matters: Nightlife starts LATE. Bars and clubs like Agosta and Barbarossa (our favorites) don't really pick up until around 1:30 am. Plan your evenings accordingly (late dinners) if you want to experience the island’s vibrant nightlife.

  • Transportation and getting around: Renting a buggy or car for only one day is plenty in my opinion.

  • Book loungers early: Clubs like Crios and Cabana can fill up fast, especially front-row spots.

  • Expect some wind: Certain beaches are breezier; beach clubs often have sheltered spots for a more relaxed experience.

  • Late-night shopping and bites: Many shops in Naoussa stay open past midnight, so you can combine a stroll with a casual bite after a long day.

  • Private boat tour with Brama Yachts is the way to go!
