Instead, immerse yourself in the therapeutic experience of steaming, soaking and unwinding like a local.

If you love historical dramas as much as I do, stepping into Seoul's well-preserved historic landmarks is like walking straight into the Joseon Dynasty! Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Changdeokgung Palace's Secret Garden transport you to a bygone era with their stunning architecture and serene ambiance. I highly recommend the Discover Seoul Pass, which includes a free Hanbok rental — a perfect touch to complete the experience of visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace. Wearing a hanbok while exploring the palace grounds adds an authentic and magical feel to your journey through history.
Enjoy Korean BBQ
Korean BBQ is an absolute must-try! From sizzling meat on the grill to endless side dishes (banchan), it’s a feast for all the senses. However, don’t forget to pack your dry shampoo and fabric refresher — you might carry that smoky aroma with you, and we can’t have everyone around you getting jealous that you had BBQ and they didn’t!

Shopping for Korean skincare is an adventure in itself! With a vast variety of stores — Innisfree, Etude House and Olive Young, just to name a few — you’ll get your steps in while discovering the best in K-beauty. If you’re of legal drinking age, make your way to Itaewon, Seoul's international district. Whether you’re into creative cocktails, soju or trying the popular local beer Cass, the bars and taverns here offer something for everyone. It's the perfect way to soak in the vibrant nightlife culture.

Wandering through its lively alleys is an adventure in itself! My personal favorite find was the cutest key chains — perfect little mementos to bring home. Don’t miss the opportunity to try hotteok (sweet pancakes) or tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) while you’re there.

Perched atop Namsan Mountain, this iconic landmark offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, especially at night. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a live performance, adding a touch of magic to your visit. Don’t forget to check out the famous “Locks of Love!”

A special shoutout to Touch Five, a must-see musical just for women where talent and athleticism take the spotlight. The performances are a mesmerizing mix of captivating choreography and alluring moves. Miracle, one of the performers, even made waves on the show Physical 100!
