Advisor - Where to Stay, Explore & Eat in Paris
Curator’s statement

Paris is one of those cities that never gets old to me, and should be on everyone’s list. It offers a mix of style, culture, rich history, luxury, character, and hidden gems. You can experience Paris in the most elevated way—private museum experiences, personalized fashion appointments, private Seine River cruises—just to name a few. Pair that with wandering the many charming neighborhoods for local gems and culinary delicacies. Spend all of your time in Paris or take a day trip to Champagne or Versailles. The options are endless, you just need to know where to look. On my most recent trip to Paris, I stayed in five different hotels and visited another 10, all to expertly match my clients.

Things to do in Paris

  • Private, skip-the-line guided tour of the Louvre: For first timers, or second timers, the Louvre is a must.

  • Musée de l'Orangerie: For impressionist & post impressionist art lovers. This is one of my favorite museums.

  • Spend the day shopping and dining in St Germain: I love this area for it's charming feel and delicious dining.

  • Make your way over to the Marais neighborhood for a mix of history, shopping, and dining: Visit the Place des Vosges, the oldest planned square in Paris.

  • Versailles: Easily done in a day trip—I prefer a private experience to cut through the crowds.

  • For family clients or couples looking for romance, take a private boat down the Seine river at sunset.

  • For my families: Cooking classes with French pastry chefs, and a scavenger hunt at the Louvre is always a hit for the kids.

  • La Galerie Dior—for the fashion lovers.

  • Food tour: Paris is filled with culinary delights—spend an afternoon with an expert guide and try all the fromage you can handle.

  • Picinic in the Touilleries Gardens.

Places to eat & drink in Paris

  • Le Bon Georges: A must for any visit! Elevated French bistro.

  • La Renommée: Contemporary French in an elegant setting. Fun for a night out.

  • Allard: Old-school bistro offering elevated, traditional French by Alain Ducasse.

  • La Petite Chaise: Old-school French bistro with wine bar vibes and a delicious menu. Don’t skip the chocolate mousse.

  • Brion: A Brooklyn-in-Paris feel for a dinner surrounded by locals with innovative dishes.

  • Freddy’s: Tapas bar with delicious mussels and crisp white wine.

Need to know

Paris is one of those places with fantastic hotels, dining, and experiences. But as a big city, there are also plenty of mediocre options—let me help you cut through the clutter for a fantastic trip. Firsthand experience and expertise always trumps online reviews from strangers.
