Advisor - Family Fun in Las Vegas: A Kid‑Friendly 5‑Day Itinerary
Curator’s statement

Las Vegas felt completely different when I experienced it through a child's eyes. What I expected to be a city of bright lights and entertainment turned into a trip filled with wonder, excitement, and family moments. Watching those little reactions—the awe, the giggles, and the "wow" moments—became the heart of the experience. This itinerary highlights the playful, kid-friendly side of Vegas that made our getaway so special.

Where to stay

Unlock perks by contacting Samyla Brown to book your trip.

Day 1: Views, virtual reality & sweet treats

Start your trip with a ride on the High Roller at The LINQ Promenade for some of the best views of the Las Vegas Strip. Afterward, head to VR Adventures for a fun virtual reality experience that both kids and adults can enjoy. Before wrapping up the evening, stop by I Love Sugar, a two-story candy store that's worth visiting even if you're just browsing.

Day 2: New York-New York & Vegas thrills

Spend the day exploring New York-New York, one of the most fun and family-friendly resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Take time to walk through the New York-inspired streets, browse the shops, and stop by Hershey's Chocolate World, which was one of our favorite stops. If you're looking for a little extra excitement, the Big Apple Coaster is located right outside the resort.

A note from Samyla

Arrive earlier in the day to enjoy the area before it gets busier in the evening.

Day 3: Ancient Egypt & interactive fun

A little imagination goes a long way.

Begin the day exploring the King Tut exhibit, where history and interactive experiences come together in a way that's engaging for both kids and adults. When you're ready for a break, there are several dining options available inside, making it easy to grab lunch without leaving the attraction. Afterward, head to House of Shattered Prisms, where the immersive rooms, lights, and interactive displays provide a fun contrast to the museum experience.

Day 4: Taking in the sights

Slow down and spend the day exploring the Las Vegas Strip at your own pace. Some of our favorite moments came from people-watching, walking through the different resorts, and discovering things we hadn't planned to see. Stop by M&M'S Las Vegas, explore themed resorts like Paris Las Vegas and The Venetian, and enjoy the energy that makes Vegas so unique. Sometimes the best memories come from simply taking it all in.

Day 5: A sweet ending at The Venetian

End your trip with a visit to The Venetian, one of the most beautiful resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Take time to stroll through the Grand Canal Shoppes, enjoy the atmosphere, and admire the architecture before stopping for ice cream. It was the perfect way to slow down, soak in the experience, and end our Las Vegas getaway on a sweet note.

Need to know

If you're visiting during the summer, be prepared for the Las Vegas heat. We found it helpful to plan outdoor activities earlier in the day and take advantage of indoor attractions during the afternoon.

Comfortable shoes, plenty of water, and a flexible schedule can make a big difference, especially when traveling with children.
