Things to do in Charleston, SC

Walking and horse-carriage tours: Tours are an amazing way to explore and discover this amazing city.
Restaurants: Charleston is a culinary hotspot in the United States.
The beaches: No trip to Charleston is complete without visiting one of the beautiful beaches.
Plantations: Nothing screams the South like plantations, and Charleston has some of the best plantations to visit.
Fort Sumter: Visit the fort where the first shots of the Civil War happened.
Rainbow Row: One of the most beautiful spots in Charleston.
The Battery: Beautiful spot in the city with some of the most spectacular Antebellum Houses.
Rooftop Bars: Charleston has amazing rooftop bars with incredible views.
The Angel Oak Tree: Oldest Angel Oak in the eastern part of the country. Completely awe-inspiring.
Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum: Take a tour of an aircraft carrier, the USS Yorktown, and walk in the footsteps of heroes.
Shem Creek: Amazing location with restaurants, bars, kayaking and paddle-boarding.

Charleston City Market: One of the most popular locations of Charleston with lots of options to buy souvenirs.

Church And Union: Unique experience for breakfast in an old church.
Virginia's On King: Sophisticated Southern Restaurant with true Southern low country-style cooking.

Hall's Chophouse: Amazing steak restaurant where you are treated like family.

Please note: For dinner, most places require reservations. Since Charleston is a culinary destination, restaurant reservations fill up fast. I recommend making reservations at least a month before you travel. The earlier, the better.
