Things to do in Paris

Pair your trip with London! You can fly into London, spend a few days, then take the train to Paris. It’s very convenient, and the return flight from Paris is often less costly than returning from London.
Visit the memorable sites such as Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, the Louvre, and all the other museums in Paris.
Take a direct train from Gare de l’Est to Reims, the heart of the Champagne region. I highly recommend booking a private tour of a few champagne houses (maisons) to really enhance the experience.
Take a train to Disneyland Paris! Both parks are so enjoyable. Try Crush’s Coaster, catch lunch at Chez Remy, and head into space on Hyper Space Mountain. There are also many classic Disney rides.
Are you in your bookish era? Shakespeare and Co is a must. They often have authors doing readings upstairs, and you can get your book stamped to commemorate purchasing your next read at a bibliophile’s Mecca.
Do you know what’s better than eating all the great French food? Learning to make it. Find a cooking class, or even a baking class for croissants or macarons.
Take a river cruise on the Seine. You can do a simple cruise that departs regularly throughout the day by purchasing tickets at a kiosk, or make reservations for a dinner cruise.
Places to eat & drink in Paris

Looking for a place to eat? Le Train Bleu is an excellent restaurant in Paris to seek reservations. If you’re out in Reims, you’ve got to try La Table Saint Thomas or L’Atelier Entrecôte et Volaille.
While there are recommendations you’ll get from anyone who has ever been to France, you rarely can go wrong with any boulangerie, brasserie, or café that is busy with vibes. Sit outside if the weather permits!
Need to know
Here are some things that I tell every client when visiting France:
Get comfortable with trains. You can see so much of the country!
If you are planning travel over the first Sunday, many museums are free! Ask me which.
Check that any hotels that you book have air conditioning if this is important to you in warmer months.
When visiting Versailles, grab Champagne and macarons from the shop and head out to the gardens. It makes for a really magical experience!
You will read a lot of negative things about Paris in your research. It is much like any major international big city. Be aware of your surroundings, and avoid peddlers. It’s a beautiful place to be, but stay alert.
You can visit the top of the Arc via a stair climb. You can also get to the summit of the Eiffel Tower, where there’s also an opportunity to purchase a glass of Champagne. Enjoy!
If planning to go to the summit of the Eiffel Tower, be aware that they’ll cancel for high winds.
A private tour of Reims for the Champagne houses is highly recommended. Our experience was truly maximized because we chose this option.
