Curator’s statement
As a Los Angeles resident for the last 15 years who recently visited Mexico City, I see where so much of our inspiration came from. I found a new appreciation for LA and the deep-rooted Mexican culture it embodies. Mexico is filled with some of the most warm and welcoming people, who are excited to share their culture with you. This was a life-changing experience I will always cherish.

Day 1: Intro to Roma Norte

Campos Polanco Hotel
Check into your hotel in a popular neighborhood like Polanco, Roma Norte, or Condesa. Either freshen up or go exploring in your neighborhood before you head to happy hour at Licoreria Limantour in Roma Norte.
Walk a few blocks to a cozy homestyle meal at Maximo, then end the night at Churreria El Moro for dessert or at Cafe De Nadie Listening Bar, both under a 10-minute walk from Maximo.
Day 2: Chapultepec Park/Castle & Museum of Anthropology

Panadería Rosetta
First, jet over to Panadería Rosetta in Roma Norte before the lines become too long. They are famous for their guava sweet roll. Then, head to Chapultepec Park and Castle and marvel at the incredible history of Mexico City and the family that resided there.
Pop back to Roma Norte for lunch at Contramar—they serve the most delicious fish prepared two ways for you to enjoy with tortillas and a glass of wine. Wrap up the afternoon with a walk through the Museum of Anthropology. This museum will take over an hour to explore, so take your time through each exhibit.
For dinner, make your way to Huset, followed by drinks at Salon Palomilla. The Salon was one of my most memorable experiences, as it has an open ceiling to enjoy the night sky.
Day 3: Teotihuacán

La Gruta Restaurant, Teotihuacán
Book a tour guide through your travel agent, which ensures the best way of seeing Teotihuacán. It is about an hour and a half out of the city, so plan to be gone for about six to eight hours. Your guide will also drop you off at your preferred lunch location on site; we dined at La Gruta Restaurant, which is inside a cave.
After you have freshened up from the day's exploration, head to dinner at Rosetta before drinks at your choice of three popular spots: Handshake Speakeasy, which is the number-one cocktail bar in the world (yes, the world!); Telecan, which is an immersive Mayan-style bar; or Loup Bar.
Day 4: Bazaar del Sábado & Frida Kahlo Museum

Hanky Panky Bar
Begin the day at Odette Bakery or Cafe Nin for more delicious baked goods. Hop in the car and head to Bazaar del Sábado, where you'll spend the late morning wandering the many stalls and vendors. Grab a quick bite before you head to the Frida Kahlo Museum and the markets at Coyocán. Immerse yourself in the life and legacy Frida left on Mexico City.
For your final meal, enjoy the romantic ambiance of Taverna, with a pristine menu and elegant ambiance. Before you head back to your hotel, go to Hanky Panky Bar, located behind a small door behind a taco stand. It's an experience you won't forget.
Need to know
Taking Ubers or Lyfts in Mexico City can be useful, but remember that their traffic is like no other. Buffer enough time between destinations to account for rush hour. Mexico City is very vast and spread out, so many tourist must-sees can be quite far from each other.
