Advisor - A Glowing Guide to Paris: Where to Stay, Savor, Stroll & Sparkle
Curator’s statement

There’s something about Paris that lingers—like the scent of fresh espresso and roses in the air, or the way golden hour hits the rooftops just right. Whether you’re wandering through the Marais or sipping champagne at lunch (because when in Paris), this city invites you to slow down, soak it in, and live a little more luminously.

Things to do in Paris, France

A perfect day sipping vintage cuvées, soaking up sunshine, and sparkling a little extra at Moët & Chandon.

  • Spa day + Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons George V: Spend the morning soaking in the opulence of the Four Seasons spa, then head to La Galerie for an exquisite afternoon tea. The flower arrangements alone are worth the visit, but the service and ambiance are next-level Parisian luxury.

  • Take a Champagne region day trip: Let me plan a private driver and tastings at boutique Champagne houses—perfectly paired with a countryside lunch. This day trip is effervescent, educational, and just indulgent enough.

  • Shop at Le Bon Marché + City Pharmacie: Paris’ most beautiful department store is full of treasures—fashion, food, and lifestyle finds. Afterward, pop into City Pharmacie for chic French skincare. (Yes, you’ll need another suitcase.)

  • Wander Saint Germain-des-Prés: Cobblestones, galleries, cozy cafés, and chic boutiques—this is where I always feel most inspired. Stop for a glass of Sancerre and people-watch like a true Parisian.

  • Visit the Dior Museum (La Galerie Dior): A fashion lover’s dream. Explore the legacy of Christian Dior through breathtaking couture, archival sketches, and rotating exhibits in a stunning multi-floor space near Avenue Montaigne.

  • Explore the Marais by Foot: One of my favorite areas for vintage shopping, hidden courtyards, and the best falafel in the city. Try Miznon for a fun, healthy twist.

  • Book a skip-the-line guided tour of the Louvre: Maximize your time and avoid the chaos—let a guide lead you through masterpieces and hidden gems, from the Mona Lisa to Napoleon III’s Apartments (currently featuring stunning couture exhibits!).

Places to eat & drink in Paris, France

This was a highlight of our trip—an elegant, modern boat with fine dining by Alain Ducasse as you glide past the glittering Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame. It’s truly a floating gastronomic experience.

  • Lunch at Coco at the Opéra Garnier: This moody-glam brasserie is perfect for a luxe lunch after a morning of exploring. Order the artichoke carpaccio and a glass of champagne, then snap a photo beneath the glittering chandeliers before wandering into the Opéra Garnier.

  • Book the Ducasse Sur Seine Dinner Cruise: This was a highlight of our trip. Dine on Michelin-starred cuisine aboard this sleek, modern riverboat. Floating past the Eiffel Tower, a glass of Bordeaux in hand, is a Paris moment you’ll never forget.

  • Get in line for the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz (at 4 pm sharp!): It’s intimate, iconic, and fills up fast. Arrive early, savor a perfectly crafted martini, and take in the layered history of this velvet-draped hideaway. Ernest himself would approve.

  • Curate a market picnic for the Eiffel Tower lawn: Pick up a warm baguette, cheese, figs, and a chilled bottle of rosé from Rue Cler or a local market, then head to the Champ de Mars. It’s the ultimate low-effort, high-reward Parisian meal.

  • Dinner at Gigi Paris (Let me help you get that reservation!): An unforgettable sunset dinner with sweeping Eiffel Tower views, live music, and the most joyful energy. As the sun sets, the restaurant comes alive with sparklers and singing—truly a magical, only-in-Paris moment. The food? Bellissima.

Need to know

Yes, Paris is a foodie’s fantasy—but you don’t have to leave your wellness behind.

Healthy-ish habits I stick to:

  • Start the day with water, coffee, and fruit (or a yogurt from the market).

  • Fill up on salads with fish or eggs at lunch (the French do this so well!)

  • Save my indulgences for what I really want—like a buttery croissant from Du Pain et des Idées or a few bites of chocolate mousse at dinner.

Balanced-approved indulgences:

  • A glass of Chablis with oysters at Maison Sauvage

  • Duck confit at a candlelit bistro in Chez Fernand Christine.

  • Macarons from Pierre Hermé enjoyed under the Eiffel Tower.

It’s all about balance. Let pleasure be part of your wellness. The beauty of Paris? You will walk… a lot. That’s part of the joy.

  • Wander Rue Cler with a market basket in hand.

  • Climb to Sacré-Cœur and watch the city glow beneath you.

  • Meander from the Louvre to the Tuileries and over to Palais Royal.

  • Book museum tickets or dinner reservations that let you walk in between stops.

  • Always take the scenic route (bonus: you’ll discover hidden boutiques and cafés)

Pro tip: I build custom Google Maps for clients that keep days walkable and efficient, without ever feeling rushed.
