Day 1: A day at the zoo

I took this when visiting the zoo a few years ago, before the pandas were all removed.
After arriving in St. Louis, check into your hotel and get settled before heading out to explore.
Spend the afternoon at the St. Louis Zoo, home to over 12,500 animals, and enjoy a relaxed lunch at Lakeside Cafe, followed by a sweet treat from Tundra Treats.
As the day winds down, head to the Gateway Arch and take the tram 630 feet to the top for sweeping sunset views over the city and Mississippi River.
If needed, stop for a casual dinner nearby before returning to the hotel. The evening is yours to relax, whether that means a swim or a restful night in.
Day 2: Action-packed adventures at Union Station

Start the day with a wholesome breakfast at your hotel or a nearby café before heading out for a full day of fun at St. Louis Union Station, one of the city’s most exciting indoor attractions. Spend hours exploring everything from the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station—home to over 13,000 animals across 44 exhibits—to family favorites like the ropes course, mini-golf, mirror maze, and the iconic Ferris wheel.
When it’s time to recharge, enjoy a satisfying meal at The Train Shed, where there’s something for everyone. Adults can grab a refreshing drink from the Anheuser-Busch Drink Container, while kids can enjoy non-alcoholic options as well.
After a full day of activities, return to your hotel and unwind with a relaxing evening, perhaps taking advantage of the spa amenities.
Day 3: Shop ‘til you drop

A full day of shopping awaits, beginning with breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Saint Louis Galleria, where a wide variety of stores offers something for everyone.
Take a break to enjoy a casual lunch at favorites like Charleys Philly Steaks or Panda Express.
In the evening, unwind with a delicious, authentic Italian dinner at Anthonino's Taverna. Return to the hotel for a relaxing night and time to recharge for the days ahead.
Day 4: St. Louis Cardinals game

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Busch Stadium for a classic St. Louis baseball experience. Be sure to pack light and bring sunscreen, as stadium security is thorough and the afternoon sun can be strong. Settle in and enjoy the game, taking in the energy and tradition that make Cardinals baseball so memorable.
Afterward, grab a casual dinner at a nearby restaurant of your choice or, if everyone’s ready to unwind, head back to the hotel.
The evening is yours to relax—whether that means a swim, spa time, or simply turning in early after a full day.
Day 5: Climb, slide & recline at the City Museum

Ten-story slide at City Museum
Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before heading to the one-of-a-kind City Museum, where creativity and adventure come together in the form of slides, tunnels, climbers, and even a rooftop bus and plane. Wear closed-toe shoes and pack light so everyone can comfortably explore and enjoy the experience.
When it’s time to refuel, stop by the Rooftop Cafe (if open) or The Vault & Tenders Restaurant for a casual meal. Adults can take a short break at Boone’s Cabin Inn for a refreshing drink before jumping back into the fun.
On the way back, grab dinner if needed, then return to the hotel to relax and recharge for the final day’s adventures.
Day 6: Twists and turns on Missouri coasters at Six Flags

Brace yourself, it’s an early start—but there’s a payoff. Fuel up with a protein-packed breakfast at the hotel before heading out to Six Flags St. Louis for a full day of rides, shows, and just enough chaos to keep everyone entertained. From high-thrill coasters to the laid-back fun of Hurricane Harbor, there’s something for every pace, plus the occasional surprise character appearance throughout the park.
Enjoy lunch on-site and take advantage of the drink package if you’ve added it—it’ll earn its keep.
By evening, expect a happily exhausted crew, so plan for a quick dinner before heading back to the hotel to unwind and recharge.
Day 7: Depart, shop & travel home

Enjoy a relaxed final morning with breakfast at the hotel, taking time to soak in the last moments of your trip.
If time allows, enjoy a refreshing swim or squeeze in a bit of casual shopping nearby for souvenirs.
Gather your belongings and prepare for departure, reflecting on a week filled with memorable experiences. With bags packed and memories made, begin your journey home feeling refreshed and reconnected.
Need to know
It’s okay to squeeze in a little unplanned time. Some of the best moments happen when you’re not sprinting to the next attraction like it’s a competitive sport.
Remember the sunscreen! And comfy shoes!
