Curator’s statement
Dubai completely changed the way I see city escapes. It’s one of those destinations where modern luxury, desert landscapes, and beach life all exist in the same place. I designed this itinerary based on my own trip, focusing on the experiences that are actually worth your time for a first visit, not just what looks good on social media. From celebrating on a yacht to cultural nights at Global Village and slow mornings at beach clubs, this is the exact flow I recommend to my clients who want to experience Dubai in a seamless and elevated way. Every activity here has been chosen with logistics, timing, and first-timer ease in mind.

Day 1: Iconic Downtown Dubai & Burj Khalifa views

Dubai Fountain show
Your first day is all about stepping into the Dubai you’ve seen on social media.
Start at Downtown Dubai, where you can take in the Burj Khalifa from the outside or go up for panoramic views if it’s your first time.
Right next door, Dubai Mall becomes an experience in itself, from luxury shopping to the aquarium and quick café stops with Burj Khalifa views when you need a break. I recommend the Third Avenue Boutique.
In the evening, stay for the Dubai Fountain show, which is still one of the most magical free experiences in the city. I always recommend arriving mid-afternoon so you avoid rushing and can enjoy the area at a relaxed pace.

Insider tip: Book Burj Khalifa tickets in advance for sunset slots. You can get the tickets online, and wear comfortable shoes—the mall is huge.
Day 2: Desert safari experience

Sunset in the dunes is always part of the plan.
This is the day I tell every first-time client not to skip because it shows a completely different side of Dubai.
We booked a desert safari with hotel pick-up, which made the entire experience effortless. The afternoon: dune bashing, sunset photo stop, camel ride, and quad biking.
Ending your day with dinner and live performances makes it feel like multiple experiences in one. It’s also one of the best ways to meet other travelers while still having a structured, well-organized activity.

A note from Sandrine Ngwinondebe
Insider tip: Choose the evening safari. The desert light at sunset is unreal and the temperatures are much more comfortable. Price is approximately 38€ per person.
Day 3: Miracle Garden

Miracle Garden Dubai
Miracle Garden feels like stepping into a completely different world and is perfect for a slower morning after the desert safari. I recommend going early to avoid the crowds and the midday heat, especially during peak season. (Perfect weather to visit Dubai is November–March.)
Plan to spend around 2–3 hours walking through the garden and taking photos. It’s very visual and surprisingly large. It’s also an easy Careem ride from most central hotels.
Insider tip: Pair this with a relaxed dinner that evening. It’s your recharge day. Recommended restaurants for fine dining:
High Society restaurant at The Lana Rooftop for Burj Khalifa views. (Minimum spend ~200 AED / €50 PP)
Nammos (minimum spend ~400 AED / €100 PP). Reservations are required. Try to book at least one day before.
Day 4: Global Village evening

Global Village Dubai
Global Village is best experienced in the evening, when everything is beautifully lit and the atmosphere becomes more vibrant. I recommend taking a slow morning to enjoy your hotel or the beach that balance is part of what makes a Dubai trip feel effortless rather than rushed.
It’s one of the most fun ways to explore different cultures in a single night through food, shopping, and live performances. My personal highlights were the African culture performances for the traditional dances and grilled specialties, the Lebanese section for fresh shawarma, mezze, and kunafa, and the Turkish stalls where you can try gozleme, kebabs, and Turkish ice cream.
Come hungry and take your time walking. This is more about the experience than a structured visit.
Entry: 25 AED (≈ €6.25)

Tip: Dress modestly and bring a light cover-up to respect local guidelines. If you forget, don’t worry—you can buy a scarf around.
Day 5: Beach club morning & private yacht sunset

Atlantis The Palm night view
This was one of my favorite days and the one I recommend for clients who want that signature Dubai lifestyle experience.
Start the day at a beach club. My top picks are Bohemia Beach Club, Nikki Beach Club, 305, and Dior at Nammos. They all offer beautiful views, great food and cocktails, an R&B vibe, and a hot crowd.
Tip: For ladies, I always suggest checking the PORTL app for ladies’ night offers (free entry).
In the evening, book a private sunset yacht. Estimated price: from ~1000 AED total (~€250) depending on group size and package of the yacht.
Seeing the skyline from the water at golden hour is unforgettable.
Day 6: Nammos brunch & relaxed beach day

Dior at Nammos, Dubai
End your Dubai stay with a beachfront brunch at Nammos. It’s elegant, very photogenic, and the perfect slow ending before departure.
Average spend: ~700 AED (≈ €175) per person.
The setting alone makes it special, but the experience is what really stands out. The service is attentive without being too much, the music keeps the energy lively, and everything flows at a slow, enjoyable pace. Exactly what you want on your final day in Dubai.
For food, I recommend ordering a few dishes to share. Grilled prawns, sea bass, truffle pasta, and their fresh salads are all amazing and come out beautifully presented. Their cocktails are just as good: well-balanced, aesthetic, and perfect for a long brunch by the beach.
After brunch, move to the beachfront and spend the rest of the afternoon on a sunbed. Stay through golden hour if you can. The atmosphere becomes even more special and it’s honestly the most effortless, luxurious way to end the trip.

A note from Sandrine Ngwinondebe
Tip: Reservations are a must, especially for weekends. I’d also recommend dressing elegantly for brunch. Nammos has that chic beach club energy and it’s the perfect place for those final Dubai photos.
Need to know
Getting around
I mainly used Careem, which connects to Dubai’s official taxis. It was slightly more affordable than Uber and Bolt and very reliable throughout the trip.
How to dress in Dubai
Visitors to Dubai can dress freely for comfort, but in public spaces such as museums, Global Village, and cultural sites, modest attire is recommended.
For the best experience, plan your trip between November and March, when the weather is perfect for sightseeing, desert safaris, and beach days alike.
