Advisor - Escape to Paros Island, Greece
Curator’s statement

Paros, Greece, is one of my favorite islands in Greece. It’s island is very boutique like and the little alleyways are gems of the island. This island offers great restaurants, beaches, tours, and shopping. It has everything in one place. Naoussa, the main strip of the town, is the most breathtaking place I've seen, with the town by the water. It’s truly magical. It is great for everyone! The beaches have private and beach clubs, and they have water sports on them for everyone! They really have a place for all! I can see why it was voted the #1 island in the world. The first time I went, I was young and went for the party. The second time, I took my whole family and made incredible memories.

Things to do on Paros

Church in Lefka, Paros

My favorite thing to do here is book a boat tour around the island, and that takes you to Antiparos. It’s breathtaking waters are a must-see on a boat! Naoussa, the town, is the most beautiful place you will see with the water surrounding you. The buildings are all white! The restaurants range from luxurious to fast dining, with something for everyone’s taste buds.

Rent a car to beach-hop from place to place. You can explore the whole island easily and it’s very easy to get around.

There are many beach clubs on the island. Punda Coast is a beautiful one. If you want more luxury and a different vibe, check out Faragas Beach Club. We loved this one and it was our favorite!

Try Barbarossa Restaurant in Naousa Town. You will need a reservation for sunset or night time. They also have it at the beach club in Faragas.

Visit Aliki area for beautiful beaches and small little fisherman's area. Explore Logaras Beach as well.

Visit each point of Paros, each offers something different. Also visit the churches of the island, they are so beautiful.

Places to eat & drink on Paros

Minoa Greek Traditional Cuisine

  • Minoa Restaurant: Greek traditional cuisine restaurant in Naoussa, that’s been operating since 1977. This place is a hidden gem and a must-try!

  • Calypso Restaurant Bar: An all-day authentic cuisine offering brunch, coffee, lunch, dinner, cocktails, Greek cuisine, and seafood. You do need reservations for this place and we loved our meal. The balcony view, seafood, and everything about this place is so good! It’s right on the water and you will love it!

  • Barbarossa Restaurant: You will love the experience and need to book later in the night. This is right in the middle of Naoussa, where the water is overlooking the white buildings. You’ll get the authentic experience of Paros, where they get on tables and spin their napkins to the music!

  • Stop at the street corn places in Paros, the best corn you can taste! Linardo is a great bar, but you will find so many hidden gems of places for drinks and food. You need to walk the whole town of Naoussa’s port!

Need to know

  • Explore the whole island whether you have an ATV, moped, or car. It doesn’t matter, explore them all.

  • Make sure you either rent a boat or go on a boat tour to explore the waters and to see Antiparos.

  • If you go to Naoussa Port, you will find a lot of excursions to do! Visit Antiparos too for the day. They have ferries, too! Just don’t wait to book this amazing island!
