Things to do at The Boca Raton Resort

Our cabana at the pool at the beach club

  • Transportation: Getting to/from the different properties in this complex is super easy. They provide a “water taxi” that runs every 5–10 minutes, which is just a short boat ride... or a van shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes from the lobby.

  • The beach: The shoreline at the Boca Beach Club is easily the best in the Boca area. Guests can enjoy plush lounge chairs, private cabanas, outstanding service, and sand toys for kids. It strikes the perfect balance—relaxed and family-friendly, yet still luxurious and sophisticated for adults.

  • The pools: There are so many different pools on these properties. You are able to rent a cabana for the day where you have your own bathroom/indoor area with a TV (hello football Sundays)—making it the perfect place to camp out for the day.

  • The spa: The Palmera Spa is one of the biggest in the country, spanning 50,000 square feet with 40+ treatment rooms, its own private pool, lush gardens and beautiful architecture, sauna, steam, and ritual pools.

  • Fitness: No shortage of fitness activities. There are pickle ball and tennis courts (or lessons with a pro), a fitness center, golf, and bocce.

Places to eat & drink at The Boca Raton Resort

The wagyu sandwich at Japanese Bocce Club

OMG, the food! Truly the most incredible food I have had at any resort, ever. A bunch of them are in partnership with Major Food Group. You are only able to make a reservation at these restaurants if you are a hotel guest or a Boca Beach Club member.

  • Japanese Bocce Club (Cloister): A must. Super unique menu. Must order the wagyu steak sandwich, lobster dumplings, and the crab crispy rice.

  • Flamingo Grill (Harbourside): An impressive steak house. To order: the stone crab, chop salad, shrimp scampi (spicy!), and the Tomahawk steak.

  • Marisol (Beach Club): Delicious and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. This is also where you have breakfast when staying at the Beach Club. Don’t skip out on the french toast sticks. Shh, they are on the kids menu.

  • Sadelle's (Cloister): This resort even has the iconic Sadelle’s which speaks for itself. And yes, the bagels are as good as they are in New York.

I didn’t have enough time to eat at any of the other restaurants on property, but I can only imagine they are as delicious as the others.

Need to know

I stayed at the Boca Beach Club, but I found the service across all of The Boca Raton’s properties was exceptional.

When we arrived, our room was thoughtfully prepared for my 7-month-old with a crib, bath toys, a baby blanket, Beach Club branded bibs, a sound machine, and even an aroma room diaper pail. Turndown service included all the little luxuries you hope for at a high-end resort—chargers neatly wrapped in branded ties, sunglasses placed in a Beach Club case, organic baby shampoo set out, and a beach bag provided for daily use around the property.

  • One thing to note: While the water taxi and shuttle make it easy to travel between the Beach Club and the Tower/Cloister, it’s not a quick trip back to your room, so be sure to pack everything you need if you’re spending the day away from your home base.
