Curator’s statement
Barcelona has been one of my favorite cities since my first visit back in 2011. It is the ideal vacation for friends, students traveling abroad, family, and significant others. There are constantly new restaurants, bars, attractions, and shops to visit in addition to those that have been around for years that never get old.

Sights and can’t-miss spots
Palau de la Música Catalana: Gorgeous concert hall and one of the most emblematic works of Catalan modernism.
Gothic Quarter: Narrow medieval streets filled with trendy bars, clubs, and Catalan restaurants.
Parc de la Ciutadella: One of the city’s most relaxing and picturesque spots, especially the Cascada Monumental.
Park Güell: Amazing park with city views. Buy tickets in advance—they sell out.
Las Ramblas: Lively yet touristy spot with tons of restaurants, shops, and bars.
Our fave works by Antoni Gaudí: Casa Milà, Casa Battló, and Sagrada Familia.
