Curator’s statement
Driving around Ireland feels like stepping into a dream—rolling green hills, coastal cliffs, and charming villages around every bend. I loved the freedom to explore hidden spots, stop for a pint in cozy pubs, and chase sunsets along the Wild Atlantic Way. It’s the kind of trip that stays with you long after the road ends.

Day 1: Arrive in Belfast

Cathedral District Belfast
Arrive in Belfast, check into your hotel. Start your day at the Titanic Museum. After that, wander down to the Cathedral district, filled with cobblestone streets and bold street art. Belfast is a very walkable city, with lots of pubs and lots of high energy. Check out Waterman Restaurant for dinner for traditional Irish yumminess.
Day 2: Causeway Coastal Road

Giants Causeway
Pick up your rental car the next morning and take the Causeway Coastal Road. Although beauty is subjective, this has been called the most beautiful road in the world. Although not the fastest route, you will drive by castles, ruins, rugged cliffs, and the greenest rolling hills. Your midday end is the Giants Causeway.
Day 3: No need to rush

As you continue south west, you’ll drive through the most charming towns like Derry and Donegal before you hit Galway. It is only about 200 miles, but you’ll want to take at least two days. The road is beautiful and rugged. Stay in Donegal for the night.
Day 4: Cliffs of Moher

Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are just a few hours south of here. One of the most impressive and beautiful things you’ll see while in Ireland, this is a must-stop. Also, a side note, these cliffs are the cliffs used as the “Cliffs of Insanity” from The Princess Bride movie. Breathtaking.
Need to know
To fully capture Ireland, I think you need to rent a car. Driving on the wrong side of the road can be intimidating, but the drivers over there are so good, just follow the one in front of you. Although the cities are fun to visit, Ireland’s beauty and charm lies in its country.
