Advisor - Exploring the Beauty of France: A Travel Guide
Curator’s statement

We are big foodies, and France is known for its culinary expertise. We like to explore a few cities if possible, so we enjoyed some time in Paris exploring the streets of Montmartre, then flew down to the coast. Èze is a small village on top of a mountain above Nice. Nice and Monaco are both easily accessible from Èze and you get to stay away from the busy streets of Nice, especially during summertime. If you're adventurous, you can hike down the mountain (a mile — but a steep mile!) and take a short train ride into Nice, or take the train from the village.

Things to do in France

Montmartre - An adorable and perfectly Parisian neighborhood in France. We had the best dinner at Le Poulbot, a tiny local spot with the best baked chicken I've ever had.

Explore Monaco - Easily a day trip but a must-see. There's plenty to eat and shopping if you're feeling bougie. We were able to get into a Michelin-starred restaurant — Rampoldi — for dinner and it was incredible.

See the Eiffel Tower in Paris - A must while you're visiting. Honestly, the view is better looking at it than having to battle lines to go up to the top. If you do go up, there's a fun little break halfway with a bar to hang out in.

Lounge at a beach club in Nice - Buy a chair for the day (bring your own towel and even snacks if you have space to pack them). The beaches are pretty rocky and this is a perfect way to enjoy the views and weather, get a nice tan and then have drink service should you wish.

Hiking in Èze - We hiked down to Nice totally by accident because the GPS led us astray, but it turned out to be so worth it. The views of the Mediterranean were incredible all the way down. Then we felt adventurous and hiked back up and rewarded ourselves with truffle risotto and rosé.
