Things to do in Orlando

Soak in the view at Coca Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar.

Near the boardwalk:

  • Take your time and enjoy the mini-golf courses on property at the Walt Disney World Swan hotel, as they offer unique experiences. There’s a touch of the Disney magic sprinkled throughout the courses so you still feel that Disney quality.

  • From the boardwalk promenade, enjoy a trip on the Disney Skyliner—just head to the international gateway and hop on in. No theme park admission required—such a fun way to spend the day outside of the parks.

  • For a neat vantage point, rent a Surrey bike for a moderate ride along the boardwalk—fun for the family. This is a neat side excursion one can do to explore the area for some time.

At Disney Springs:

  • Check out the concert venues at Disney Springs—they have live bands performing there often—so make sure you don’t miss it. Be sure to check the app to see when the show times are and who is performing!

  • Also at Disney Springs is an AMC theatre—so check out a movie on a hot summer day. This way you’ll stay updated on all the latest releases from Disney!

Places to eat & drink in Orlando

At the boardwalk:

  • Head to the all-new Cake Bake shop for a nice lunch in a grand setting. Just a short walk or friendship boat away from a few Epcot resorts.

  • Also check out Trattoria al Forno, this is your classic Italian fare, with a variety of options for the entire family. You may be able to catch a glimpse of the Epcot night-time spectacular, Luminous—The Symphony of Us from this location.

  • For a fun experience—head to Gideon’s Bakehouse. This is an intricately themed bakery sure to entertain all who visit.

At Disney Springs:

  • For an immersive experience, visit Rain Forest Cafe—this unique eatery is one of a few still in operation—be sure to visit when you can. They are also one of the best themed restaurants outside of the Disney Parks.

  • If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, Salt and Straw is a great place to get some unique ice cream. A neat spot to try new, unique flavors.
