Curator’s statement
Grace Bay is a dream for those who want to do a little bit of everything—or nothing at all. I came here in search of soft sand, turquoise water, and world-class scuba diving, and I left completely hooked. We saw reef sharks, rays, and tropical fish on nearly every dive, and the visibility was out of this world. With its mellow vibe, calm pace, and postcard-perfect beauty, this island is now one of my favorite places to dive, dine, and disconnect.

Things to do in Turks & Caicos

Scuba diving here is some of the best in the Caribbean—warm water, reef sharks, rays, and visibility for days.
Go scuba diving with a local dive shop
This is a diver’s paradise. We did multiple dives during our stay and spotted reef sharks, eagle rays, and colorful reef life in warm, crystal-clear water. Conditions are typically calm, but prepare for some surface chop and bring a GoPro—visibility is top-tier.
Book a private boat charter
For those who want a mix of luxe and thrill, renting a private boat is so worth it. We jetted past stunning cays, swam alongside wild dolphins, and explored lesser-known snorkel spots.
Lounge at the Grace Bay Beach Club
Oasis guests get access to a private beach setup with food and drink service. The wood-fired pizza and Painkiller cocktails are addictively good, and it’s a perfect post-dive chill zone.
Kayak or SUP through the mangroves
A fun contrast to open-water diving—glide through calm, shallow mangroves and spot turtles, baby sharks, and stingrays. Book a guided eco-tour for a deeper understanding of the ecosystem.
Bike to Grace Bay’s Main Street
Complimentary hotel bikes make it easy to pop into town for coffee, smoothies, or boutique shopping. It’s quick, easy, and a great way to explore without needing a car.
Take a catamaran snorkel cruise
Not diving today? This is the perfect way to stay in the water. Expect reef snorkeling, rum punch, and a few surprise stops like Iguana Island.
Enjoy sunset drinks at The Shore Club
This is where you go to sip something tropical and soak in the magic of a seriously unreal sunset. It’s luxe without being stuffy.
Visit Da Conch Shack
No trip is complete without this beachside staple. Fresh conch, ocean views, and sometimes live music—it’s iconic and casual.
Book a spa day at Wymara
After a few dives and days in the sun, a massage here is pure heaven. It’s a beautiful, peaceful reset that still feels luxurious.
Day trip to North & Middle Caicos
If you’re craving more adventure, take the ferry and explore this rugged, quieter part of the islands. You’ll find caves, wild beaches, and less touristy charm.

Set in a tropical grove, this elevated Caribbean dining spot is a must for a special night out. Make a reservation early!
Grace’s Cottage at Point Grace

The Deck at Seven Stars
A perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood and cocktails with your toes in the sand. Amazing post-dive lunch location!
Lemon 2 Go
Start your day here with strong coffee, fresh smoothies, and light bites. It’s an island favorite for a reason.
Bay Bistro
A relaxed beachfront restaurant with fantastic seafood and a laid-back vibe. Dine with a view of the surf.
Danny Buoy’s
Great for a casual meal, local crowd, and post-dive happy hour. Sometimes there’s live music, and always good energy.
Need to know
Grace Bay is perfect for divers who want luxury with a side of peace and quiet. The beaches are world-famous for a reason—the water is insanely blue, the sunsets are glowing gold and pink, and the vibe is always relaxed.
Just note that taxis are expensive, so bring cash (USD) or stop by the ATM on the main strip if needed.
You don’t need heels or much of a wardrobe here—just a few swimsuits, sandals, reef-safe sunscreen, and a sense of wonder. Whether you’re diving deep, lounging in the sand, or cruising with dolphins, Grace Bay is where adventure meets rest in the most beautiful way.
