Things to do around Amalfi Coast

White boat sits in blue waters near a grotto in Italy

With stunning sites, there are many ways to enjoy Italy's Amalfi Coast. Here are a few ways to live la doce vita!

Explore the Outdoors

Drive the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast for the most exhilarating (and jaw-dropping!) ride of your life.

Hop a ferry to any of the towns you’re not staying in.

Walk the Path of the Gods for amazing views.

Charter a boat & make sure they take you up close to the Faraglioni.

Snorkel around le Sirenuse islands.

Explore the Blue Grotto.

Enjoy the Culture

Do a Limoncello tasting.

Take a cooking class in Sorrento.

Relax

Sunbathe at a beach club.

Watch the sunset at the Terrace of Infinity in Ravello.

Day Trips

Italy's Amalfi Coast is dotted with many lovely towns that are perfect for a day trip or pitstop while cruising down the coast. A few of my favorite's are: Capri, Procida, Ischia, Positano, Sorrento, Ravello, Maori, Amalfi, Praiano, Vietri sul Mare, and Atrani!

Places to eat & drink around Amalfi Coast

Dishes of bread and vegetables with a wine glass and bottle overlooking the water in Italy

Da Paolino Capri (Dinner under the lemon trees, make reservations at least 4 months in advance)

Chez Black Positano for lunch.

Franco’s Bar Positano for apperitivo.

R. Buonocore Capri for gelato

Rossellini’s Ravello for dinner.

Maria Grazia Nerano

La Brace Praiano for pizza

Da Emilia Sorrento for fresh fish.

Glicine Amalfi for dinner.

Need to Know

I would recommend staying in more than one town during your stay. For example, half of the time in Positano and the other half in Ravello. Definitely give yourself the opportunity to explore all the wonder that is La Costiera Amalfitana!
