Need to know

You can plan Baja vacations for any time of year, but the best time to visit is from December through April. Avoid the hottest summer months and hurricane season.

Many cruise itineraries will focus on the whale-watching season in the winter, then shift to whale sharks and the mobula ray migration in the spring.
