Things to do in Santa Barbara

Brunch: Walk down to the beach for brunch! Recommended spots: Chad’s or Jeannine’s Bakery.
Wine Tasting: Wander through State Street and stop for a wine tasting at one of my favorite wine bars. Margerum Wine Company is a charming little wine bar located right across from Hotel Californian. Enjoy a charcuterie board with your wines on their patio! J Wilkes Wines is another great wine bar just a block away, enjoy wine flights on their patio.
Walk or Ride at the Beach: Take a stroll down the waterfront and out on the warf to enjoy stunning views. You can even stop at one of the restaurants on the warf for a bite or a glass of wine. Option to rent bikes at one of the many bike shops downtown (or many of the hotels will provide bikes to guests) and explore the waterfront this way.
Brewery Hop: If you’re a beer drinker, you will love the brewery options in Santa Barbara. Here are some you can try all within a short walking distance, making it easy to hop from one brewery to the next! Try SB Biergarten, Brass Bear Brewing, Topa Topa Brewing Company and Institution Ale Company.
Places to eat & drink in Santa Barbara

Bluewater Grill: Delicious seafood and cocktails. Perfect stop in the afternoon for some drinks & apps on the patio or at sunset for a nice dinner.
Oku: Amazing sushi to enjoy inside or on their patio!
Finney’s Crafthouse: More casual of a spot for dinner but just as delicious as the rest. Sit inside or on their patio to enjoy views of State Street. If you visit during the week, take advantage of their happy hour!
Lucky Penny: If you’re looking for a quick and casual lunch spot as you explore downtown, stop here for pizza. It will not disappoint!
Pali Wine Garden: After your lunch at Lucky Penny, head one block over to Pali. Enjoy wine flights and if visiting in the summer, some Frozé!
Djinn: Visit this funky cocktail bar in the lobby of Hotel Californian for specialty cocktails.
The Good Lion: Fun spot on State Street to stop for a night cap after dinner.
