Advisor - Denver Couples' Getaway under $2000
Curator’s statement

When I put this Denver getaway together, I imagined a trip where you can exhale the moment you arrive. No rushing. No overthinking. Just time to reconnect, explore a beautiful city, and enjoy experiences that feel meaningful rather than packed. This is Denver at a slower, more intentional pace—mountain views, cozy meals, moments of wonder, and plenty of space to simply be together.

Where to stay

Unlock perks by contacting Tanya Ellis to book your trip.

Day 1: Arrive, settle in & ease into vacation

After you arrive and check in, I’d encourage you to slow everything down. Unpack a bit, open the curtains, and take in that first glimpse of the mountains—it’s your cue to let the rest of the world fade out.

For your first dinner, I’d send you to Hops & Pie. It’s casual, friendly, and perfect for sharing pizza and a drink while you start talking about the days ahead. No reservations, no pressure—just a comfortable first night that feels easy.

Back at the hotel, turn in early or linger over a nightcap in your room. Tomorrow, you’ll wake up fully in vacation mode.

Day 2: Fresh air, deep relaxation & a soul-soothing evening

Start your morning with a gentle hike nearby—just enough movement to enjoy the fresh air and big Colorado views without feeling like you’re “doing a workout.” Walk, talk, pause for photos, and take it all in together.

Late morning or early afternoon, I’d have you enjoy a 1-hour couples massage. This session lets you truly melt into relaxation and sets a calm, connected tone for the rest of the day.

In the early evening, I’d plan your visit to Beyond Light Show & Meditation. Since Beyond closes at 8 pm, this timing is perfect. The combination of light, sound, and guided meditation is gentle and grounding—many couples leave feeling centered and quietly connected.

Afterward, you’ll head to dinner at Ocean Prime. This is your dress-up-just-a-little night: polished service, beautifully prepared seafood and steaks, and the feeling of celebrating something special—each other.
If Ocean Prime isn’t quite your style, I’d happily swap in: Shanahan's Steakhouse or Quality Italian.

Day 3: Cozy comfort, teamwork & creative moments

Begin the day with breakfast or an early lunch at Maria Empanada. I always recommend sharing a few empanadas and coffee—it’s warm, comforting, and feels like a little local ritual before a fun day out.
Next, it’s time for something playful and interactive: an escape room experience at Golden Puzzle room. Working together to solve puzzles, laugh through mistakes, and celebrate your teamwork is such a great bonding experience.

That evening, I’d keep things relaxed and creative at Upstairs Circus Denver. You’ll sip drinks, get hands-on, and make something together—one of those little souvenirs that carries memories long after the trip ends.

Day 4: Wonder, play & a perfect last night

Meow Wolf Denver

Spend your final full day exploring Meow Wolf Denver. Wander at your own pace, follow your curiosity, and enjoy the feeling of discovering something unexpected side by side.

For your last evening, I’d send you to 1UP Arcade Bar. It’s lighthearted, nostalgic, and full of laughter—the kind of place where time slips by as you play games and toast to a great trip.

End the night back in your suite, looking out at the city lights and mountain silhouettes, already talking about where you’ll go next.

Need to know

Where to stay

Element Denver Downtown East:

I love this hotel for couples because it feels calm and comfortable the moment you walk in. Your corner king suite gives you room to stretch out, big windows for soaking in those mountain views, and a quiet place to unwind at the end of each day.

If this one isn’t available, I’d also suggest: Catbird Hotel or Sonesta ES Suites Denver—both warm, welcoming alternatives.
