Things to do in Los Cabos, Mexico

Catamaran excursion: One of my favorite highlights from visiting Los Cabos had to have been when I took a sunset cruise on a Pelican catamaran. This was one of the most epic moments of my life, and it was an amazing memory to view the arches in this way.
Art Walk on Thursdays: Get a guided tour or venture off on your own to the vibrant neighborhood of San Jose del Cabo, where you can see local artwork from 5 - 9 pm every Thursday.
Flora Farms: This restaurant actually received a Green Star for sustainability efforts (we love that) and also features fresh farm-to-table food. You can also do art or cooking classes, wine tastings, or even walk the grounds with an herbalist.
Solaz Artisan Activities: My favorite resort honestly would have to be Solaz. They offer a variety of enriching activities that can all be arranged by your Artisan butler, such as a chocolate masterclass, pizza making (for the little ones), and even tequila or Mexican wine tastings.
Whale watching: One of the most fascinating things you can do in Cabo would have to be whale watching. The best time to do this would be from January–March.
Places to eat & drink in Los Cabos, Mexico

Al Pairo: This is a contemporary Mexican cuisine restaurant (Michelin Guide) and located right on site at Solaz Resort & Spa, Los Cabos (my personal recommendation). They serve contemporary Mexican food. I had the pleasure of dining here twice with one night opting for the tasting menu experience.
Flora Farms: This farm-to-table dining restaurant serves seasonal cuisine inspired by the local region. It is a bit further away, feels more rustic chic, and offers other enriching activities on site.
Marea: I had the best lunch of my life at this restaurant located at Montage, Los Cabos. They serve al-fresco Mediterranean cuisine with a stunning view of the sea of Cortez.
Nido: Located at the Viceroy Los Cabos, this restaurant has both a stunning backdrop and amazing Asian cuisine. I highly recommend for a birthday dinner or a dinner date night.
Cocina de Autor Los Cabos: This restaurant is home to the $25,000 taco. With one Michelin Star and located at Grand Velas Los Cabos. If you love tasting menus and formal dining, this will be an amazing experience for you.
Need to know
Los Cabos is great for dining! Nearly all of the restaurants are open to the public, so I think it would behoove you to dine around.
January–March can be really chilly; especially at night, so pack layers.
Winter also happens to be whale watching season, with the best time to view being early morning.
Arrange an airport transfer: Book shuttles or rides (Uber/taxi) beforehand to bypass aggressive timeshare salespeople at the airport.
Getting around: Ubers and Lyfts are super accessible, safe, and affordable. Most are able to get you from resort to restaurants and beyond.
Pack smart: Bring light clothing, swimsuits, hats, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen; consider a rental car for flexibility but ensure insurance is clear.
Beaches: Swimmable options include Medano, Chileno, and Lover’s Beach (Pacific side is rough).
Safety: Keep valuables hidden, be cautious at night (use transport), swim at designated “blue flag” beaches, and be wary of over-priced airport vendors.
