Curator’s statement
My heart will forever belong to Dublin. I love this city! I stayed here for a few months and I call it my second home. Ireland in general is a place I will continue to return to, but Dublin itself is a city filled with history and wonderful people.

Day 1: Phoenix Park

Here at Phoenix Park
We start our day off in Phoenix Park! Bring some carrots with you when you visit to feed the very friendly deer wandering the park. After you’ve spent the amount of time you’d like to loving on the deer, head over to Kilmainham Gaol for a tour of the famous jail. If you need to stop for a quick snack, drop into a chipper and get some chips (fries) with lots of salt and vinegar. My favorite snack to this day!
Day 2: Christ Church & Guinness Factory

Christ Church
Head to Christ Church for a quick tour of this lovely old church before you go to the Guinness Factory. Highly recommend the Guinness factory tour—it's quite the experience. Block off a good amount of time, as it is self-guided, but totally worth it! You also get to learn how to pour a pint of Guinness and then drink it at the top of the factory with a view over Dublin.
Day 3: Shopping day

Trinity College Library
Shopping day! Hang out around Grafton Street and Stephen’s Green. If you are into history, drop in to Trinity College and see the books of Kells and the library that helped to inspire Hogwarts’ library.
Day 4: Graveyard history

Graves in graveyard next to arboretum and pub
You’ll be on the north side of town at the arboretum. It generally isn’t very busy and the grounds are gorgeous! When you finish up, head to the Graveyard (John Kavanah’s) pub for dinner and drinks. And if you’re into cool tombstones and a bit of history, drop into the graveyard for some really cool headstones and statues.
Day 5: Croke Park

Croke Park Stadium
One of the best days, in my opinion, is going to Croke Park for a game of hurling or Gaelic football (totally different from football in the states)! Both games are traditionally Irish and typically only played in Ireland.
Day 6: Howth

Take a quick train ride north of Dublin to Howth. This small fishing town offers tours to see puffins, easy hiking to a lighthouse and the best fish ‘n chips EVER at Beshoff Bros. This will forever be one of my favorite spots in all of Ireland. This cozy coastal town is a must-visit—if I could move there, I would in a heart beat.
Need to know
It is easier to take public transportation in the city than to rent a car.
