Advisor - Eat, Play, Party, Repeat: A Curated Guide to High-End Vegas Fun
Curator’s statement

Las Vegas is a city of dichotomies—glamor and grit, indulgence and restraint, chaos and calm. No matter your craving—whether it’s fine dining, high-stakes tables, wild nights out, or adrenaline-filled adventures—Vegas has something for you. Personally, I love experiencing the city through a luxurious lens, leaning fully into whatever kind of fun is calling me that weekend.

Things to do in Vegas

Zouk Nightclub for T-Pain

Eat your way through Vegas

Food is a universal connector, and I love getting to know a city through its culinary scene. Vegas is one of the only places where you’ll find so many award-winning chefs and high-end restaurants concentrated in hotels. I also highly recommend joining a foodie tour—you’ll explore hidden gems, hear the stories behind the dishes, and discover the city’s cultural influences beyond the plate.

Dance it out at dayclubs & nightclubs

Whether it’s rooftop pool parties under the sun or dancing all night to a world-famous DJ, Vegas nightlife is unmatched. I always use a promoter or host to help secure the best tables and skip the long lines—it’s the smartest way to upgrade your experience.

Catch a show (or five)

Las Vegas is bursting with entertainment options—from family-friendly spectacles to adults-only cabaret. Cirque du Soleil has multiple shows on the Strip and never disappoints, but my personal favorite so far is Absinthe—a wild, hilarious, and raunchy show that’s definitely not for the kids.

Escape to the desert

Just beyond the Strip lies a completely different world of desert beauty and outdoor adventure. I love getting out into nature with an ATV tour or a guided horseback ride—it’s a great way to reset between the glam and the chaos.

Take a day trip to iconic landmarks

If you haven’t been to the Grand Canyon or Hoover Dam, they’re absolutely worth a visit while you’re in Vegas. Tours make it easy to do in a day, and the change of pace from the Strip is refreshing and awe-inspiring.

Prioritize your wellness

Vegas isn’t all late nights and loud clubs—there’s a surprisingly luxurious wellness scene here. Whether you’re booking a spa day at your hotel, escaping the Strip for a desert wellness retreat, or getting in-room IV treatments, I always make time to recharge (and nurse the occasional hangover) and prioritize my wellness.

Places to eat & drink in Vegas

Eataly at Park MGM & Famous Food Street at Resorts World

For groups with dietary restrictions, picky eaters, or just wildly different cravings, these elevated food hall experiences are a game-changer. You can explore a variety of high-quality options all in one place—from Italian classics at Eataly to global street food favorites at Famous Food Street. Everyone walks away happy.

Giada at The Cromwell

Celebrity chef spots can be hit or miss, but this one truly delivers. The tasting menu features generous portions of Giada’s signature dishes, and the wine pairing option is absolutely worth the upgrade. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced in Vegas—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Ski Lodge at The Cosmopolitan

Hidden away in Superfrico, this alpine-inspired speakeasy has one of the coolest vibes on the Strip. It’s cozy and atmospheric, and the cocktails are both creative and seriously strong. Great for a pre-club drink or a low-key night out with style.

Mother Wolf at Fontainebleau Las Vegas

This glamorous Italian restaurant is a total sensory experience. The décor is decadent, the cocktails are perfectly balanced, and the food—especially the pasta—is unforgettable. Come here when you want to feel transported.

Papi Steak at Fontainebleau Las Vegas

When you're in the mood to go all out, this is the spot. It’s a high-energy, bougie steakhouse where the presentation is just as important as the flavor. Order the “beef case” for a show-stopping, over-the-top experience that’s pure Vegas.

Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den at Resorts World

Tucked behind a wall inside Famous Food Street, this hidden speakeasy nails the speakeasy vibe. The cocktails are expertly crafted and themed to match the space, and the moody atmosphere makes it feel like you’ve discovered a secret.

Lunch at a dayclub

One of my favorite ways to do lunch in Vegas is at a dayclub—where the vibes are high, the beats are loud, and the food is surprisingly good. Spots like Tao Beach or Encore Beach Club offer full menus with elevated bites, bottle service, and plenty of people-watching. Come hungry and ready to party—it’s lunch, Vegas style.

Need to know

  • Get familiar with transportation around your hotel.
Vegas may look walkable on a map, but the Strip is deceivingly massive. Depending on where you stay, you might have access to a monorail, a tram, or walkable hotel connections—take a few minutes to figure this out ahead of time to save your feet (and your sanity).

  • Use taxis on the Strip—ride shares elsewhere.
Taxis are usually the fastest option for getting around the Strip since they’re allowed to pull up directly to main hotel entrances. Uber and Lyft pickups and drop-offs are restricted to designated ride share zones, which can be a trek and time-consuming, especially at big resorts. Ride shares are still great for airport transfers or getting off the Strip entirely.

  • Walking sounds easier than it is.
Distances in Vegas are deceptive, and walking from one hotel to the next can mean thousands of steps—especially with pedestrian bridges, escalators, and crowded sidewalks to navigate. If you’re visiting during the summer, the heat can make even short walks exhausting. Dress accordingly and plan your routes.

  • Club schedules drop late—stay flexible.
Vegas clubs don’t always release their full DJ lineups as early as you’d expect. Reach out to a promoter about a week or two before your trip with your preferred nights or artists. New shows and events often pop up at the last minute, so flexibility and patience will help you lock in a great night out.

  • Plan around major events like EDC for bonus DJ sets.
If you're in town during a major event like EDC Las Vegas or a big sports weekend, you're in for a treat—many top DJs and performers playing the festival also do surprise or scheduled sets at Strip clubs and dayclubs. You can often catch a more intimate set from a huge name without paying festival prices. Keep an eye on club schedules and talk to a promoter to find out who's popping up where.
