Curator’s statement
I recently traveled to Sevilla on my honeymoon. I had previously been in my 20s and, ever since, I have been yearning to go back. It's the most beautiful, walkable, and delicious city I've ever visited.

Things to do in Seville, Spain

The beautiful architecture of the Alcázar
Tapas tour: Take the Sevilla Tapas Tour with Elio. Believe me. Thank me later. Elio takes small groups around the city to some of the best tapas spots in town—ones you may be intimidated to go in without a true local.
Plaza de España: This and a glass of vino tinto. The Plaza de España is just a picturesque sight to see. There are usually some activities (e.g., Flamenco dancing) going on while you walk around a beautiful plaza that highlights all the different regions of Spain.
Walk: Walk around this beautiful city. Stop for a copa de vino tinto. Pop into the shops. The city is easy to navigate and so walkable. Just get out and discover. And also take note of where and when to find shade (aka another glass of vino).
Alcázar: This palace makes you want to learn about the diverse history of Sevilla. It's not only gorgeous inside and out, but it's also right in the middle of the city. Pro tip: You will spot a peacock whether you like it or not.
Catedral de Sevilla: This is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It's worth a visit just for the art. Go up the bell tower for some of the best views of the city.
Places to eat & drink in Seville, Spain

Some local tapas bars have their menu on a chalkboard—go with it!
The Rooftop of Querencia de Seville: The rooftop of this hotel boasts gorgeous views and great cocktails. The prices are so good, too. You may not want to leave.
El Pinton: This restaurant is a great intro to Spanish culture and food. Service is also standout.
Eslava: Reserve a table or walk in and try to get tapas at the bar—either way you will fully enjoy yourself. The vibe is perfect and the food matches it.
Sal Gorda: Get high-end tapas here. They have a savory donut tapa. Need I say more?
Casa Morales: A classic Spanish tapas bar. You will find the tapas you learned about in Spanish class here, and you will love them.
Need to know
Seville can have temperatures over 100 degrees, but the city has shade everywhere. In fact, the streets were designed to provide shade.
You don't need to tip like you do in the US, but a couple euros will be appreciated!
